Episode 4 - Joan Nestle, The Will to Remember

WARNING - the following program contains explicit content and themes

Proud 'out' lesbian, spokeswoman for butch-femme desire, and a tireless freedom fighter, Joan laid the groundwork for the lesbian, gay and transgender movements of today by claiming her right to her own sexual identity at a time when to do so made her a figure of controversy.

Joan reads an excerpt from 'A Fragile Union' titled "The Will to Remember: My Journey with the Lesbian Herstory Archive"

and two shorter pieces from 'A Restricted Country'.
