Simon Bridges: Why the National Party is releasing its own cannabis bill
The National Party is planning to release its own bill on cannabis today.
Simon Bridges told Mike Hosking his party supports legalising medicinal cannabis but not Labour's way.
He says Labour's bill is too wishy-washy.
"They wouldn't change things. It is quite clear to us they don't have any component frame work as to how this will work, so we couldn't go along with that."
