There is an idealized image of Christmas we have that none of us can completely live up to. Then we find ourselves disappointed because our reality ends up being so far from that expectation. The truth is if you experience some family problems at Christmas, you’re normal. If there were no problems in our families then Christmas would not have been necessary! Christmas was necessary because we’re all sinners and we all need a savior.
