There seems to be no end of "how to" books designed to help us make more, earn more or get more out of life. Very few, if any, give us pointers on how to give more, share more or serve more. The teachings of Jesus run counter to this approach to life. Jesus said, "The greatest among you will be your servant." and "It is more blessed to give than to receive." The thing that makes Jesus' teaching so powerful is that he didn't just talk about giving and serving, he did it!
