Proclamation!

Simple, Humble Instructions

Listen Later

Fourth Sunday after Pentecost 2019
Reverend Shelley McVea tells the intriguing story of Naaman, the leader of a mighty army, who fought against the Israelites. But Namaan suffered from leprosy. A captured Israelite servant girl tells him he could be healed if he were to obey the Jewish prophet Elisha. The prophet asks Namaan to follow simple, humble and unexpected instructions. Can the great man find it in his heart to do this?
