Water is the most important nutrient for animals and plants alike. But we often make simple mistakes that impact the quality of our water and our ability to treat our wastewater. Today we meet with two water quality specialists from the City of Wheeling, Mike Chiazza and Joe Smith to discuss how things like grease, “flushable” wipes, litter, and yard waste impact water quality. Dan and I also touch on fertilizer and herbicide use and why it’s important to get a soil test.
