The ECHO Framework is a simple way to use AI in your business without chasing perfect prompts, new tools, or complicated AI strategy frameworks.
A lot of people approach AI like a vending machine: type the perfect prompt, get the perfect output. But that’s not usually how AI works best.
In this video, I break down the ECHO Framework, a practical way to think about using AI individually and across your business. The core idea is simple: AI should echo you, your team, your business, your judgment, and your standards.
ECHO stands for:
E: Evaluate what should be automated, assisted, or kept human
C: Conversation, because AI works better when you talk through the problem instead of trying to write the perfect prompt
H: Honing, where your taste, judgment, and standards improve the output
O: Ownership, because you are still accountable for the result, not the AI
This framework is especially useful for business owners, operators, and teams who want to use AI practically without turning the company into a generic AI content machine or chasing every new model.
Chapters:
00:00 A simpler framework for using AI in your business
01:32 E: Evaluate before you automate
03:16 C: Conversation, not perfect prompting
04:06 Why conversation brings out better context
09:04 Use voice to give AI better inputs
11:09 H: Hone the output with your judgment
12:44 O: Own the final result
15:30 Putting the ECHO Framework together
16:50 A simple AI task to try this week
17:34 Why the framework matters more than the tool
Try this this week: take one task you would normally hand off to AI with a single prompt. Instead, start a conversation with it. Tell it what you’re trying to do, ask what it needs from you, hone the output until it sounds like you, and only use it once you’re willing to put your name on the result.
That is the real shift. The tool matters, but the framework matters more.
