Welcome back to another episode of the "Find Your More" podcast, hosted by Cassie Woods.
Today, Cassie is diving into a topic that's been buzzing all over the internet - morning routines. Yep, we know there's a ton of content out there, but hey, we're going to keep talking about it because it's that important.
Think of a morning routine as the fuel for your day, like making sure your car's tank is full before a road trip. But here's the catch: so many folks get it wrong. They turn their morning routines into these rigid, hours-long rituals, which, let's be honest, can feel overwhelming.
Cassie remembers reading "The Miracle Morning" a while back. It's a fantastic book with a cool acronym for a morning routine - SAVERS (Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, Scribing). It's fantastic, but it's not always practical for everyone, especially us moms who are juggling a thousand things.
Here's the deal - you don't need a super complex morning routine. You need something simple, flexible, and less than five minutes. Something you won't skip, no matter what's going on. Why? Because when you stick with these habits, it builds confidence and consistency.
In this episode, Cassie shares her foundational morning routine, which she's been using for years and teaching to others. But remember, the key is to keep it simple and doable. Start your day by telling your brain it's going to be a good day, think of things you're grateful for, hydrate, take your supplements, stretch a bit, and do some reading and journaling.
It's not about being your absolute best self when you have all the time in the world. It's about having habits that meet you where you are, even on your craziest days.
So, here's your action step: Take a look at how you've been starting your day lately. Do you feel energized and focused? Or are you feeling rushed and stressed? If it's the latter, it might be time to simplify your morning routine to something you can do consistently, no matter what.
Remember, it's not about perfection; it's about progress. Let's start our days feeling like champions, no matter what life throws our way.
Thanks for tuning in to the "Find Your More" podcast with Cassie Woods, and she'll catch you in the next episode! 🌟
