In this second episode, Sheetal Singh talks to TAFE teacher and filmmaker, Nathan Burling from Wollongong. Nathan lost all his hearing in his left ear when he fell off the stairs in his home. That moment changed the course of his life. He is currently working on a documentary that spreads awareness about cochlear implants. Sheetal also speaks with audiologists Matthew Grounds from Expression Australia, and Shou Farn Chung about the social isolation associated with hearing loss.
