In this episode of Simply Living Wellness, Donna Abreu interviews guests Megan and Stefanie Anderson about the incredible healing properties of crystals. Learn about these amazing Earth created gems and their ability to transform everything from physical pain to emotional wellbeing, enhanced energy and increased spiritual connection to Source.
Stefani and Megan believe that change is inspired one crystal at a time. And by enhancing our awareness and being present in the moment, we can better understand the energy of earth, and how to connect to its power, as well as connecting to one’s own power.
Megan and Steafanie have a business together called Life With Crystals, and are connected as a family with their daughter, Zoie.
My journey started in the 90’s. I became certified in massage therapy. I enjoyed that. I felt the connection and the energy with that. And I knew that I had a gift, and I knew that I had healing hands. I always lit up when I talked about it or felt it, or when I would see someone in pain, I knew I could help them.
So I wondered what else I could do with my life to keep that going. Six years ago, I met some friends of Stefani’s: Kim and Charles O’leary in New York. They own a crystal shop, Crystals on the Rocks. I flew out there and they explained and showed me more about how crystals can heal; and the vibrations of the crystals. Walking into their shop was just the most amazing feeling ever. I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to come home, but I wanted to take the shop with me.
I know there are shops everywhere, but it’s what people put into that, and the love and energy. Knowing that that was the way I wanted to go, I talked with Stefani about starting a business. We tried to figure out how we could incorporate that entire family. Since Zoie is our 7 year old daughter, she is a Star Child. We wanted that to be a focus too.
So Zoie’s name means “life” in Greek. Life with Crystals, Zoie is our life, so Zoie is part of the name of our business.
We do a lot with our crystals at the house. We’re starting our on-line business at LifeWithCrystals.com. And we’re exploring and give back to the communities.
I grew up in Fairfield, and migrated to Sacramento early in my career after I got out of college. My journey is quite a bit different than Megan’s. I went into the corporate world of security. I have been there for over 20 years. Megan’s enthusiasm about crystals, about the metaphysical world was something that interested me. Actually I was interested in rocks when I was a child, and I always had a fascination with how rocks, crystals and stones were created by the earth. My job was that I was interested in this path with Megan, so I wondered what this was all about. What is the spiritual world all about for me?
Through a lot of research, digging on the internet and my friends in New York, I got very much interested in the healing powers of crystals. So we began this journey together, in agreement that this is something that we both want. Coming from different places and different backgrounds, and I think it blends very well for our business.
Megan: I’ve always been spiritual in my background. I was raised Catholic, but going through different stages, I felt that connection, but I just didn’t understand it. So after high school, I did some college, but then I ended up just going through certification as a massage therapist and going down that path. I felt connected and felt that that was my path – to give back to people and to help heal them. My hands get hot. I love the feeling I get when I start talking about it. I get excited. When I do work with people, it brings joy to me. I feel the energy coming through my hands.
I used to work for the Post Office, and that’s when I knew I needed to get out of there. That was not a good fit for me. But one of my customers was an 87 year old lady that I would visit every day. She had cancer. I would bring my massage table over to her and massage her. I would feel where the cancer was, and I gave her comfort. That’s what I enjoy. To be able to do that and give that to people, that’s what I want. I don’t want the other stuff. I want to be able to give back. That gives me a purpose.
Life With Crystals is a crystal gem and jewelry shop. Right now, we’re on line. We’re working toward a store front so people can actually come in and feel and see what I’m talking about. When you go to the website, you can SEE it there, and sometimes get connected through the interest. People can feel that vibration. We are looking at offering classes down the road to be able to teach people about the crystals and how to heal. And to have different types of energy work at our shop with we do open up.
With COVID-19, we’re tabling the shop for the moment. In the meantime, we’re fine-tuning the web site. For the location, we know we’re going to be guided to where we need to be. Our goal is to have it in Sacramento.
Donna: I’ve been told when you buy a crystal, when you narrow it down to what type of crystal you want but there are several to choose from, pick each one up and feel it, and feel which one calls out to you. I’m not so good at that. I wish I could feel more about the crystals.
Megan: I feel a different vibration when I hold them. But it’s YOUR energy that YOU’RE giving off when you look at crystals. On a website, if you’re directed to look at a particular one if you have an idea…..say rose quartz, but you come across a lapis lazuli, and you wonder why you are so attracted to the lapis. There’s a reason why. The energy that that stone is giving off is something that your energy is wanting. So you really need to pay attention to what your energy is saying,. Even though your mind is saying something else, you r energy is guiding you. So you need to go within and feel that.
Stefani: We’ve had some people over to our home where we have crystals on display. And they come with certain intentions: maybe they’re feeling a lot of anxiety or stress, and we talk to them about what kinds of crystals can address their situations. And yet thy might veer toward something different that has different healing powers according to the crystal world. But it may be what THEIR energy really needs to address other underlying situations or emotions in their life. So we help them move through the crystal world, trying to address what’s underneath as well when you’re being drawn to a particular crystal
Donna: So it’s not just about picking up a crystal and saying: do I feel anything here in my hands. It also could just be that you notice one that maybe you think is beautiful, or you just have an admiration for it.
Megan: At the end of last year, I did have part of our crystals up in Loomis at the Caring Arts Awareness Center and selling them there. One lady came in who was told to get some Black Tourmaline. So she was looking at those stones, but she kept looking at the Pyrite Sphere sitting to her right. She kept turning “why am I being drawn to this one?” She ended up getting both, but come to find out, there’s a reason why she needed the Pyrite that was calling to her. She was there for a reading, so the reader did tell me that was Pyrite was very important and she needed that too at the time because of what was going on with her life at the moment.
Without us knowing what we have, we may not be aware but our intuition is telling us without us even knowing what we need.
D: So part is having something you’re trying to address, and then look for a crystal may help with that. And another part is just going into a shop, which is why it’s so important to have a physical shop where people can walk in.
S: You can still browse on the website. We do have a lot of the stones there. We’re still collecting more. But we have the descriptions there that tell you what each crystal is for, and what the unique purpose is. If you’re going in for a certain purpose, look that up and it’s going to guide you to what crystals might benefit you.
D: Once you find a crystal, what do you do with it?
S: There are different things: there are palm stones you can hold in your palm and work with that, meditate with them. What I do is I have a couple of bracelets that I wear throughout the weeks – I switch them up. Or I take a tumble stone and put it in my pocket. You have two pockets on your right hand side….there’s a tiny pocket there. That’s really a crystal pocket. And I put my stone in there.
So you’re always carrying the carrying the crystal with you for protection or for whatever is its purpose.
At our house, we have Selenite in the four corners of our house. That keeps the house balanced and protected, and gives an extra protection that we need. Placing the crystals throughout your home helps balance the energies that you may or may not need.
D: We have a difficult entry onto a road in our neighborhood to that has a blind corner. I was told to put a crystal there on the corner. First clear it and then put the intent that this is to keep everyone safe who is pulling out on this blind corner. This friend has them all over her property. She told me story: there were some teenage kids that were causing a lot of ruckus in their neighborhood. She’s on 10 acres. The kids were doing some vandalizing and driving a truck around, etc. These kids hit every property, but just skipped hers completely! Everyone else had damage done, but since she had crystals around, and I think they protected her property.
M: We have the Selenite in our house and I feel more protected. I actually do drive in my car with Selenite and Black Tourmaline for an extra protection also. I do feel a difference. I feel that it helps with the negative energy that’s coming and keeps it out. And it keeps us safe. I have extra cargo in my car when I drive Zoie. I feel like I need extra protection, which I feel I get from the crystals.
There’s black tourmaline that helps with the negative energy. We have the Shungite bracelets and tabs for phone and computer to block the EMF waves.
There was a lady a few weeks ago who wasn’t feeling so well. She talked about how she just didn’t feel good. She was going to the doctor’s a lot, even with the COVID. But her sickness wasn’t the COVID. It was blood pressure, and just not feeling right. She looked up Shungite and realized she needed that. She bought a couple pieces and I brought it out to her. She called the next day saying she felt pretty good. She said: I don’t know what it is, but when I put on the bracelet and had the Shungite elephant she purchased, in the house, she just felt ‘goodness.’” She felt a change already, so she bought some more.
I told her that our intention when we choose these crystals, we hand pick each one of them. So that’s why they all are so important to us. We bless them when we leave. It’s like when our child goes off to school, we are saddened for them to leave, but we’re also excited that other people are going to enjoy what we have and what we picked out. So our intention for each one of our crystals is to give goodness, and we let everyone know that they need to set their own intentions. But we already have an intention set on them as we let them leave the store and go to someone else.
S: To your point with the Shungite, it’s probably not a great one for your neck per se, it’s better a bracelet. Because we all have chakras. There are 7 chakras and the heart chakra is super important. What I would say that if you wore something around your neck, maybe choose something that has love, compassion and brings you peace, joy, happiness, because that’s right at your heart chakra.
So you would want to also look at where you place a crystal, what chakra can that help with.
D: So rose quartz, isn’t that bringing love in? I use a rose quart Yoni egg. My friend also teaches yoni egg practices. I started with the jade egg as suggested. I never had much luck with the jade egg. It just didn’t feel comfortable. So I stopped using it. I took one of her workshops last summer and she was teaching about the jade egg and the rose quartz egg. And there’s a black one that really powerful. She started talking about being drawn to something. She started describing the rose quartz egg. She said people usually start with the jade egg and then move on to the rose quartz. But she started describing the properties of it. I just kept feeling like the rose quartz was the egg for me. I ended up getting one that day.
M: You went with your intuition. Your energy was telling you what you needed. So that’s what you listened to. That’s great.
D: I didn’t get the cramping feeling. It just was beautiful. I love it now.
M: With the rose quartz, we throw them in our bathtub with other different stones in the tub when we take a bath – to give us the extra protection or the love or the confidence that we need. You still have that while you’re soaking and relaxing – that extra energy from the crystals. We do have the tumble stones for that. I’ve had several people buy them for that. We’re working on a package going for that – a separate bath package.
Tumble stones are like pebbles, but they’re tumbled, so they’re softer. They’re like the size of a coin. Those you can carry in your pocket or place them anywhere in your house, or use them in your bathtub. You get the same energy. It’s just amazing.
D: The one you have in the 4 corners of your house – does it have to be big? Can it be little?
M: It can be any size. And just set your intention.
I have a friend who purchased some of the Selenite tiny towers, and place them in her big house at the 4 corners. She bought the little ones – like 3 inches. She said she noticed a difference. She felt a different energy. She had had different energies in her house, so that calmed down the energies she had. She also placed an extra 4 in the corners of her bedroom to give a little more protection. She loves it.
When I hear stories like that, it makes me feel good.
D: I’ve been carrying one, especially when I’m talking to a difficult person, for example, who triggers maybe. I’m empathic so I take on people’s energies. I’m trying to find ways to not do that because it’s exhausting. One way someone taught me is to hold even just a rock …. I think right hand for men, left hand for women. And the energy will all flow into that rock. And then later, just toss the rock off.
When the crystal has absorbed the negative energy, you do want to cleanse them and clear them out. If you’re in a highly intensive environment, you want to cleanse the crystal every day. You either put it on the Selenite. The Selenite has a dual purpose: it cleanses – it will cleanse your crystal. Or you sage it – you sage and smudge your crystals. It helps cleanse and clear out the negative energies that got absorbed by the crystal. Or on a full moon, you would put your crystals out to let them absorb the natural energy from the moon. Some crystals can be energized and cleansed by the sunlight also but you have to be very careful what crystal CAN go in the sunlight, and what crystals should NOT be in the direct sunlight.
For instance, amethyst is one of the biggest ones that you really shouldn’t have in direct sunlight because it will lose its color. It will fade over time. So if you want to keep the pure dark purple then you keep it out of the direct sunlight. It can go in the sun but over time it will fade. It will still have the same power, the same energy, but it changes the look.
D: So it won’t lose the healing property – just a matter of the visual look.
M: Lapis Lazulli. It’s a blue crystal. It’s also one of Zoie’s favorites too because it looks like the earth. It’s got the blue and has some pyrite in it. It’s about “speaking your truth,” and “having self-confidence…..which is the throat chakra. I wear it quite a bit. I have it on right now – my bracelet and my pendant. I feel more confident when I do wear it. I feel that I can speak clearer and speak what I need to speak.
I also love the amethyst. I love the look, the color, the emotions it gives – calmness – and it is a protective stone.
D: That’s supposed to attract abundance, right?
M: Yes. The citrine is one of our favorites for abundance. We have a citrine in the furthest left-hand corner from the front door. That will bring in the abundance through your front door and will allow the abundance just flow. Whatever that means to anyone, you set your own intentions to allow abundance to flow.
S: One of the ones you’ll see that more prevalent out in the world is the Himalayan Salt lamps. We have those as well throughout our home. Our daughter has a lot of allergies and what we’ve found it really has helped her with that. The lamp helps to dissipate both the moisture in the air and the allergens in your home.
D: I have a couple of those two. They’re small ones.
M: It doesn’t matter. We have different sizes of the salt lamps. We also have just small pieces of it. So it doesn’t matter.
D: About the citrine – and about the far left corner. I’ve heard that. In fact I have an amethyst there. Maybe I’ll try citrine. But that’s a Feng Shui concept.
M: We have the abundance of love. It’s whatever our intention is what abundance means to us.
D: I was on a hike years ago and saw what looked like a beautiful rock. It was colorful, pink. My friend said that it was rose quartz. At the time I didn’t really know anything about crystals or the healing properties. I should have just kept it, but I didn’t.
So if you find it outside like that, does it have the same properties as when you buy it?
M: We have rough rose quartz – before it’s polished. We do sell items that are rough looking, coming straight from the earth. Yes, if you find it, that’s great. Then it’s something you FOUND. Don’t ever drop it and just walk away. It’s a great story to have too to say look what I found a long a trail.
But it’s amazing when you look at some of the pieces we have that are natural, the points that we have comes out of the earth looking like that. It blows our mind that our earth can create this…..that Mother Earth has created these precious gems for us. The majority of them are not tampered with. It’s how they come out looking like that and it blows our mind.
D: It sounds like you do more than just have a shop where you sell crystals, but you help guide people as well.
M: People call and ask questions and we try to answer as best we can, and point them in the right direction.
S: The other thing we are working on our website, when you look at different products, you’ll be able to see more in depth. We’ve named some of them because there’s a feeling that we, as the owners of these currently, get. So we pick names for them because they ARE personal. It’s to personalize it for you, it may call you. And we state what the benefits are for the different crystals. We’ve listed the benefits – not a complete list, obviously, because it’s difficult to capture all the different properties of all the crystals. But we also have facts about how they were mined, where we got them, where did they come from, and special things about that particular stone……You’ll learn more about the crystal as well.
M: Some of them are so old and it’s amazing how old, some 50 to 70 million years ago. It’s amazing how reading up on how the crystals were made and formed. And to get that feeling from that story line, makes you want to look at or have one in your hands.
D: One can still find these crystals? I would think eventually they might all go away, or are they continuing to be created by Earth.
M: They’re still continuing to being created by the earth. The earth is always creating things for us. Earthquakes create the friction which causes the gases and formations. It’s the volcano ask that’s causing the mud balls for certain things to form. It’s a constant thing. So throughout the millions and millions of years, things are still being created. I think when earthquakes do happens, the earth shifts them up and they come up close r so we can find them, and see what they look like. They are just precious stones from this earth.
D: I heard there’s one that’s not made here. I bought one because I thought it was so fascinating. But they found them here in a crater. It’s green. But it’s supposed to help open up.
S: One of the more prevalent one is the adventurine, which is also very good with prosperity, abundance, wealth, bringing those things into your life.
D: Other stories? Healing stories?
S: Interestingly enough, I have a story about copper. We also have B. I had put one on one day and throughout the day, I thought I felt pretty good. I had recently been diagnosed with early onset arthritis in my hands. I had been experiencing some pretty severe pain in my hands. I noticed that my right hand, the worst hand, was feeling so much better. The thing about copper is it’s a very good conductor for blood flow, to keep blood flowing. Because it is a conductor, it helps alleviate some of that pain. So that was an awesome story that I love to tell anyone who has arthritis – a copper bracelet works fantastically.
We sell those too on our site.
M: We also have copper balls too. I’ve had some customers put them in their pocket or sleep with them, especially those with hip issues. So having it around pain has been very beneficial.
D: I have arthritis in my thumbs especially. It comes and goes. My mother had it, my sister has it. I do feel depending on my diet, it can be better or worse. It’s probably inflammation. I’m very much into what we put into our bodies and how that affects us. I’m going to try the copper. Do you wear one on each hand?
S: I do. I don’t wear them every day. It’s dependent on what I’m doing in my day. But if I feel like my pain is getting more severe if I’ve been working on my computer a lot, I will wear it. And it really does help alleviate the pain and bring it down for me. It doesn’t make it go away, but it does make it very tolerable. I just feel better when I wear them.
M: We’ve been told by many people, we do have some reviews on our page, they are impressed by our affordability. We didn’t want to over-charge for things because we want people to afford the healings. That’s how we’re giving back. We feel like healing should be something people should be able to afford. We’re blessed on being able to keep our prices where they are so we can bring in new clients and new customers. We are very proud about that.
Website: www.lifewithcrystals.com and when you go on there, you can sign up for our newsletter that will let you know when we are going to be at some venues that had been cancelled due to COVID , but we’re scheduled for the Healing Arts Festival in September – at least it’s scheduled. And it’s at the Scottish Right Center in Sacramento. We will have a booth there. Our original goal was to get out and start doing a lot of events, but with COVID, that changed our direction to focusing on our website and online business. This may delay a little bit our trying to open a shop, but we definitely have that goal, we want to go down that path because we believe in the availability in getting people to come in and have face-to-face interaction with us as well.
When you log onto the website, there are two links: we have a Facebook Page, and Instagram. And if you like either one, you can follow us on both and get the latest and greatest news.
Zoie, a Star Child, is gifted. She sees things – spirits. She’s just in tune. She’s very pure. We’re trying to understand that more and help guide her to understand crystals.
In knowing and recognizing Zoie’s abilities, we did have a person come in and do readings for us. That was one of the things she pointed out about Zoie – Zoie is has the ability to see spirits. Frequently she’ll tell us she sees spirits in the home doing one thing or another. It’s very cute. But the other thing we do with her in order to help teach her about the crystals and bring it in to our family is we frequently have family meetings. They can be positive – talk about our days; or it could be we’re trying to educate her on thoughts and behavior. We’ll say: You need to go pick a crystal out and bring it to the meeting. Then we sit down as a family. That crystal is passed around to each one of us as a point of being able to be the person who speaks while everyone else listens.
She’s very good, it feels like, at picking the right crystal. So it’s a wonderful thing for her. Just listening to her talk about what she can see and what she can feel from different crystals as well, and just to watch her gravitate to those crystals is an amazing thing. It really makes our hearts smile. We really love watching her grow with the crystals.
The one thing that she teaches us that we already know, but what she teaches us is that she is reminding us that it’s about love. And that we need to love everyone, love everything. That’s a constant thing that comes out of her mouth. And it’s a constant drawing that she does – love, love, love. She can’t say it enough. We’re very blessed to have her, and that she is a part of our family.
D: She’s so lucky to have you as parents to really guide her, because a lot of children who are that intuitive, it’s not the norm, so they think they’re different. A lot of times the parents don’t even know what’s going on either. So maybe they get misdiagnosed.
M: She sees my brother in our house quite a bit, so she lets me know what. That’s nice to see. That makes me feel good that she has that connection with my brother, because I feel like that is a “miss” for me. But it’s not because she has the better side of him. She gets to be a part of his new world. I’m very happy and I look forward to more learning and the ability to work with her more with that.

In this episode of Simply Living Wellness, Donna Abreu interviews guest Jules Kandah Carpenter on Valentine’s Day! She has a powerful story to share – about how she went from extreme postpartum depression, anxiety and insomnia to finding her way back to life and joy.
She attributes her transformation to breathwork, meditation and tuning into Spirit. Having gained so much from breathwork herself, she then went on to become a certified breathwork facilitator, learning the alchemy of breath technique, among others.
Jules is also a pranayama yoga teacher, a second degree Reiki energy healer, and more.
Postpartum disorders are not discussed often enough, and yet so many women suffer terribly from postpartum depression and anxiety. And they often don’t even realize what is happening, or what is causing the depression.
In this episode, you’ll learn about breathwork and it’s powerful healing qualities. You’ll discover the benefits of diaphragmatic breathing and how it’s much more powerful than other forms of breathwork.
D: I did a Facebook live this morning for Valentine’s Day, and it was about self-love, and the three ways that I think are the most critical or my top ways of loving myself. It was fun to do that.
J: I just had a personal sauna session for my self-love.
D: Jules and I live in the same town in Nevada County, in Northern California. Here there are a lot of healing modalities and practitioners here.
Where you grew up and about your early background
J: I grew up in the Midwest. I’m from Michigan. I lived in a small town. My dad sacrificed his driving time – drove a long way in order for us to live in this small town and go to a smaller school.
I was the baby of 5 sisters. So I grew up in a powerful, energetic home with all kinds of female energy and power, and I got to witness that. I have an interesting role in that – exploring my sisters and what they were exploring in their world, and then me seeing what wasn’t working for them, and delving into a spiritual practice – actually pretty early in my childhood.
D: Do you attribute that to your sisters or were your parents also spiritual?
J: We were raised Catholic and I didn’t agree with a lot of those practices, and I knew at a young age that there was something more. My sisters left the practice of Catholicism and I wondered why. It wasn’t until I started reading a book on all kinds of religions at a young age when I realized there was more out there than just Catholicism.
That really started a spiritual path for me when I was about 12.
D: I didn’t have that personally growing up. I wrote a blog article about how I found spirituality, but I didn’t find it until much later. I knew about religion and God, but then I started seeing the hypocrisy in religion.
J: It was a huge part of my surviving childhood as the baby.
D: Where did you go next? When did you come out to the West?
J: I met my now husband in my mid-twenties at a music festival. I was offering sound healing. He was offering art installations, and I was part of the crew of art in the music festival – so we were in the background. We met there, fell in love, and I was finishing my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. So I had an opportunity to finish my last course in California – San Francisco.
It was a big jump. My husband just jumped on that. He always wanted to live in California as well. So we basically got to know each other as we moved to the Bay Area for a couple of years.
I also learned Yoga certification. I was teaching Yoga to that for free – just community classes. I knew I had a strong practice, and I wanted to offer it to people. Then in San Francisco, I became officially certified. And I had been practicing Reiki for a couple of years, but became officially certified in yoga and really added so much to my practice with Yoga and meditation. I dove a little bit deeper and then started a path of offering it more to people, while I was working with kids in occupational therapy.
D: Your husband does these practices also?
J: Yes he s also a Reiki Energy Healer, and he and I have spent a lot of time in yoga and meditation together. Now we have a practice of meditating together, meditating separately but have couples meditations. He loves breath-work, so that’s always fun to offer that to my husband.
D: I’m a second degree Reiki. But I just use it for myself and my family.
J: It’s so humbling every time.
D: So then you got pregnant…..
J: So we knew we wanted to have a kid, and we weren’t really trying, but we knew we wanted to, but the time when we knew we wanted to is close to when we were eloping in Hawaii. We eloped in Hawaii, had a beautiful ceremony. It turns out I was pregnant during our marriage ceremony. So we hit the ground running as soon as we got back, found a beautiful set of midwives in Nevada County, and my pregnancy was okay. The emotions were really hard for me, but I just figured it was part of the process.
It was also pretty hard on my husband. He just love me through it, and knew that things were changing. After having my daughter, the postpartum feelings came on pretty quickly.
D: You had already moved to Nevada County? Or you came here for the birth?
J: We had already moved. We knew we wanted to get out of the City, so we moved from the Bay Area into the middle of nowhere in Nevada County area.
Then we were married and I was pregnant here in Nevada County.
D: So the birth was with no drugs at all?
J: No meds. It was really awesome to be at home. I feel blessed that I got to do that.
D: So depression started right away. Describe
J: It was so wild. It’s not talked about enough, so in my mind, the idea of postpartum depression was that it randomly happens to people, and it’s so rare, and when it comes on, it’s so extreme…..like you feel like you’re going to hurt your child or hurt someone in your house. In my mind, that was the only way that you could have postpartum depression if those were the things you were feeling.
Thankfully, I didn’t have that experience. The thing that brought me the most joy was my daughter. She really kept me grounded throughout, but it was pretty much within …. Actually I remember the day that I realized it was coming on n a weird way – it was Thanksgiving – two and a half months – and we had a FriendsGiving with all our friends. The whole time I felt awkward talking to my friends. I felt I had nothing to contribute to the conversation. I was quiet. I felt sad at this beautiful celebration. And that’s how I started to know that something was up.
And then two weeks later, we went to Mexico with my mother-in-law and father-in-law. While we were there, my daughter had a terrible sleep regression – like 45 minutes of sleep. I just spiraled into these really dark feelings about life, and I didn’t enjoy one minute of my trip.
There WERE moments I enjoyed with my daughter and my family, but inside of me, I was just feeling so uncomfortable with who I was and I didn’t know why until midway through that trip.
D: Your daughter wasn’t sleeping so she was keeping you up and you weren’t sleeping????
D: Lack of sleep is tough. I think that’s the hardest part about being a new mom. I had postpartum depression, which I didn’t even realize at the time. I think a lot of that was from lack of sleep.
So you discovered it half way through? What led you to suddenly realize what was going on?
J: Every moment of our trip, I felt like I was picking fights with my husband. And one moment, we were sitting in the hot tub, and grandma was watching the baby so we could get a little break. I said to him: I don’t feel good. And he looked right at me and said: I KNOW that you don’t feel good.
I said that I thought there was something deeper going on but I don’t know what.
To be very honest and raw, we came home from our trip and I’d like to black this out, but we had an argument and I lost total control of my body – like I didn’t even know who I was. I was in a fit of rage over something silly.
And my husband was really scared. He didn’t know what was happening. He was frightened.
Once I left with my daughter. I went into nature and visited a friend and came back, and we were both crying and my husband said: I’ve been researching all day, and I’m pretty sure you have postpartum depression.
It was sweet especially after all the rage I put forth. He really supported me to start getting some help. I’m so grateful.
So that was only at four months postpartum.
D: What kind of help did you seek out? For me, they wanted to put me on Zolaft. I had no interest in that. Talk about your journey.
J: Any mom that chooses to go the route of medications, I have no judgment for you. That is hard, it’s crazy. You feel crazy. I felt crazy.
I found an amazing therapist in this area that I was drawn to because he uses a lot of spiritual practices. Our first conversation on the phone, I knew this was different. It felt really good.
In our first session, we barely talked. He guided me into an amazing meditation that was like a lineage of meditations that have been passed on to hm. After my first session, I felt like this is what I need. I continued seeing him, and the insomnia started for me.
My daughter started sleeping and I stopped sleeping. I was also seeing an Acupuncturist for my insomnia, and taking any herb for my mood that I could take. Whatever anyone was suggesting, I was trying to take and nothing seemed to be helping.
The meditations with him, I felt the best with him. It would last for a little bit afterward, but I would often find myself back into my head. At one point, it felt like my whole life dissolved in front of me.
D: Had you gone to a traditional doctor also? You were open and aware enough to start down your path. Not every new mom is there. Which is why we’re doing this call. So people know there are alternatives. It doesn’t mean you can’t go traditionally.
J: Insomnia was also wild. I became crazier and crazier in my head. Sleeping herbs didn’t help. It was wild. At that point, joy had left my body. I would feel joyful with my baby, but outside of that, I felt like I had no joy. I didn’t know who I was anymore. I couldn’t even speak to my friends. I felt like I couldn’t have a conversation without being in my head. And I was creating scenarios, like things that could happen to my daughter and how I would get her out of it…..over and over again.
Thankfully at that time, I wasn’t working. I didn’t work for about a year and a half. And so I continued seeing the therapist. One day I saw a preview, an advertisement for a breath-work class in Nevada City and I was familiar with breath-work – had taken a breath-work class when I was 18, in the middle of the mountains.
So I was familiar with some of the transformation there and the magic.
Not exaggerating, after my first night in my breath-work session, I knew that was what the medicine was for me. It was really amazing and it still took me quite a while, but I continued going to breath-work and continued seeing the therapist and got deeper into his meditation.
And then I had quite an experience of finding Spirit/God (I think I tried not to say that word for a long time), but I definitely found God again, but in a different way.
The therapist kept talking about Presence and Spirit, and I really didn’t know what he meant, but I knew I felt something.
One day after a session, I felt the power of this presence in the room. I felt supported. I felt like things were starting to shift and move for me. And I felt like I wasn’t alone in experience anymore, but I didn’t understand it.
I told my husband I found God again, but it’s a different way. It’s not a man in the sky. I was trying to explain it to him. I said I feel like this energy WITHIN me and that’s AROUND me at all times, and I feel so connected. So I explained it to him and then went to bed. So I have insomnia, so at this point, I was “sleeping” in a separate room to try to help my insomnia.
And I went to sleep . In the middle of the night I was awakened by a beam of light. It looked like someone was holding a flashlight on the carpet and it was shining straight up to the sky. It gives me chills every time I talk about it.
I rubbed my eyes. This isn’t real. My dog was in the bed with me and he wasn’t moving. So I thought this was not real. So I moved my head from side to side. As I moved my head, this light was following my vision side to side.
When I first saw it, I thought did I leave a light on? I was taking melatonin, and was so tired. Did I pass out with a light on? And then I realized I felt it. That’s when I felt it. That presence. It was very uncomfortable for me, so I couldn’t just sit there and talk to it. I totally got up and went to my husband. I was pretty scared and startled. But it became clear to me afterward that was me calling it in.. I had just said to my husband hours before that I found God again. And then that experience happened.
D: So do you always feel that or do you have to tune in to feel that?
J: I have come so far and I still have so far to go. But I’ve come so far with this relationship to this within and around me. Breath-work has been a portal of connection for me. I kept finding that every time I was participating in breath-work, I was becoming closer and closer to this feeling of support at all times.
So I started to just ask. I want to be connected to this as much as I can. So it’s really important to me to take time every day to sit and just sit and feel that relationship every day.
D: Basically, is that your meditation, what you call meditation, or do you do something else as well?
J: That’s just a big part of my meditation. I practice a meditation called The Felt Sense, something my breath-work teacher has demonstrated…..just sitting in my body and feeling the sensations, but also taking the lineage meditation from my therapist and feeling the sense of Presence. And then talking.
Now I just have like free-form, free-flowing conversation. Every time I’m n breath work, It’s like another level of connection. I feel like now I can see clear images of what’s supporting me.
But I give thanks because I know that if I’m not “feeling” connected, I can just lie down on my mat and start my breathing process, and awaken that.
D: About this breathing. The only breath work I’m familiar with is in yoga – about the difference of yoga vs just stretching. In Yoga you’re breathing with the poses.
J: I practiced different types of breathing for so long. So this type of breath work is a diaphragmatic breath. Taking a breath out of your chest and into your diaphragm, into your low belly. I teach it in different ways, but a way to activate and heighten is an open mouth continuous circle of breathing. So there’s no hesitation between your inhale and your exhale. Just allowing them to be connected in and out. You breathe in and take in 3 times more oxygen this way.
No pausing at all.
This changed my life with breathing. It opened my capacity to breathing, so I started to learn through teaching of other breath work teachers. When we breathe our typical breath in this society, it’s breathing in our chest. It actually keeps our nervous system in the sympathetic (fight or flight). So you actually stay in that sympathetic nervous system by breathing into your chest.
When you take your breath out of your chest and into your belly and practice diaphragmatic breathing, even with your mouth closed, throughout the day, you stimulate the Vegas nerve and you bring yourself into the parasymphathetic, which is the rest and digest part of our nervous system.
So I trained myself to no longer breathe from my chest. Now, all day long, unless I’m exercising, I breathe diaphragmatically….and that has also changed my life.
To me it’s truly medicine now. It’s breath medicine.
When did symptoms start going away?
J: It took probably about a solid 9 months until I started feeling joy again in my body, and I remember being outside and actually feeling joy when the sun touched my skin
It took me truly a year and a half to feel like myself again and to come into this new identity. I think I was struggling and attaching myself to this old identity of myself, which I find we often do when we start shifting in our consciousness
It can happen sometimes like it feels scary to leave the comfort of this person that you knew so well. For me I had to just embrace who I was changing into. So that took about a solid year and a half before I could feel I could actually be myself and sit and talk with friends without being in my head.
D: Did you feel you could not be yourself before? Or you were yourself in a different identity?
J: The beginning stages of all, I didn’t feel like myself at all.
D: The depression. But before that, you felt like yourself? But you transformed……who you were before and who you were after.
J: Before was a lot more passive. I didn’t have clear boundaries: energetic and spoken verbal. I was very much a “yes” and a giver and a giver. I didn’t’ see how that was contributing to being burnt out. I felt like it was my role to help people, whether it was yoga, meditation or Reiki. It was my role to help and help.
I also was in a different place. I enjoyed life in a different way. I was stepping into this person who was enjoying life in more of a present way, like wanting to stop and notice the clouds and the sun. And stop and notice how I FELT about situations. And when someone approached me, how I felt about that person approaching me and what they brought and the energy that they brought. So I was becoming a more conscious and present human being, and really conscious with myself and what I was putting out there, what I was receiving, who I was letting into my life, into my family’s life……totally energetically. That was a big eye opener for me.
And within that process, I lost friends for sure. At the time, it was hard, but then I saw the beauty to it and I felt free, and my family was free from attachments of these energies that kept sucking onto our family as well.
I think I stepped into a more direct self-aware role. Owning myself and who I am and what my journey is in this world in this 3-d form in this lifetime.
D: How much were you doing during the year and a half? And now how much daily time do you dedicate to these practices.
J: The first year and a half, I was spending time every day with the meditation, and then starting to get into more of a daily practice of the circular breath work. Then at about a year and a half, I found this program and it came to me and I was drawn to it because it was called Alchemy Breathwork. And that’s how I described my process. It was like alchemy – everything in front of me just had to dissolve in order for it to be built up to be more beautiful and incredible and magical.
So alchemy to me is a powerful work. It resonates in my soul, so I found this program and then it became a dedicated everyday daily practice. So I would spend anywhere from 10 min to 30 min to an hour breathing and meditating. And then I had a 10 min journal exercise afterward. I’d set a timer for 10 min and just write.
D: and that time included the breathwork and meditation. Yoga would be separate and later in the day?
J: My routine now is exercise in the morning, which takes form in all different ways, but exercise, breathe, breathe-meditate, …..my breathing is a meditation to me now.
So exercise, breathe, or just a meditation and then journaling.
D: It takes time, especially in our crazy culture with crazy schedules.
J: It’s not easy. For me it was a matter of feel better or not feel better. So I felt like I just HAD to do it. In order to do that, with a child, with a business I’m creating, and working with kids living with disabilities, I have to get up at 5 AM to do that. I try to always go to bed by 10 PM.
With my clients, I encourage them to build up to a daily practice. But I’m really serious with people that my life took a more permanent change to wellness when I started a daily committed practice. And, on the weekends, I don’t want to get up at 5 so I have a different routine on the weekends. But it still includes that time every day: exercise, breath, meditation, journal.
D: Where can people learn more about you?
J: I have a website: www.YourBreathYourHealing.com
I work in Nevada City. I have a beautiful office space and have one-on-one clients here. I also work remotely. So I can do this work online.

The post #24 The Healing Powers of Medicinal CBD Isolates appeared first on Simply Living Wellness.
In this episode of Simply Living Wellness, Donna Abreu interviews guest, Ynge Ljung, who comes back to the show to talk more about allergies and intolerances, and about her creation: The Allergy Kit, which you can use to treat allergies yourself, in the comfort of your own home. It saves you lots of money and time visiting a Nate Practitioner, for example, on a weekly basis.
Almost everyone suffers from some kind of allergy or food intolerance. Most people don’t even know they have allergies. Diseases, such as celiac disease, Alzheimer’s, Hashimoto’s, for example are all thought to be caused from wheat allergies. And symptoms such as fatigue and depression and eczema and bloating and hives and many, many more can all be caused by allergies.
Donna dives deeper into the nuts and bolts of The Allergy Kit. She has been using the kit herself for a couple of years now. She even cleared her cat allergies with The Allergy Kit, which felt like a small miracle. She also uses it on her kids. Since Donna had questions about The Allergy Kit, she wanted to get those answered for others who most likely have similar questions.
Why do we have allergies in the first place?
We’re not supposed to have allergies. Allergies occur when our immune system is not strong enough. So, we have to build up the immune system. We also have to train the brain to understand it’s not supposed to react to the offending food or item. That is exactly what The Allergy Kit does… it resets the body to be “in harmony” with the offending food or item, so that the body does not react to it anymore.
In this episode we talk about the different allergy kits and how to use them.
D: So I am thrilled to welcome Ynge Ljung to the show once again. Hello, Ynge!
Y: Hello there Donna.
D: We’re so delighted to have you here. So Ynge, we’ve heard your story before on the previous podcast. And I encourage our listeners if you did not get a chance, to listen to the former interviews with Ynge about allergies.
She also talked a lot about autism. She has a book published about autism in kids, and all the spectrum disorders (the A Spectrum), and how many of those disorders are caused by allergies. So it all ties in together.
So why don’t you start, Ynge, by talking about The Allergy Kit … how does it actually work?
How is it that I cleared cat allergies, specifically, from my body? I went from having major blisters on my eyeballs within an hour of being around cats and severe asthma that I had to use an inhaler, to being completely now unaffected by cats one day to the next. It really does work.
So what is actually happening that something that severe is able to be cleared from my body?
Y: First of all whenever you have an allergy, it’s because your immune system is not strong enough. And we have to build up the immune system.
That is why The Basic Allergy Kit contains the 7 vials that you have to use first. And they consist of different foods, toxins and vaccines. So you can start to build up your immune system by absorbing nutrients in the foods cleared from your once allergic fields..
D: So everybody starts with the Basic Kit, because most people are allergic or have intolerances to the many items in the 7 vials.
Y: Yes. I have only met one person in my over 20 year old practice with allergies that didn’t have any allergies. Only one person.
And I don’t know why….I don’t know if it’s because of the food we eat, because of the toxins that are on the food, the vaccines that lower our immune system…..
I think there are a lot of different aspects that influence us. When I grew up, everything was organic without being organic.
We’re not supposed to have allergies. You’re not supposed to be allergic to a cat. I don’t really know how to explain it. It’s that your brain think it’s supposed to react to cats…if its hair or whatever it is in the cat that you react to. But that’s a wrong response.
Eliminating the allergy is that the body detoxes and the brain understands that it is not an allergy, and it’s not supposed to react to it.
D: So using the vials and the laser on the vials and the different acupuncture points in the body, that’s what’s changing the brain, balancing it?
Y: This process balances the brain and returns the body to status quo – so the body understands it is not supposed to be reacting to different things.
I think also the more we do the treatments – remembering the basic kit is just the basic kit – it’s the starter kit. But by keeping on treating for what you react to, you’re able to more and more absorb nutrients in foods and stay healthy.
D: We start with the base kit. I know you’re adding molds, and another one you thought should belong in the base kit because it’s so common –
Y: No, the basic kit still has 7 vials. And I have an Environmental Allergy Kit that has the mold bacteria and virus in vial. That’s one you can also use if you’re getting sick.
D: Wow, that’s handy to know. We’re in the flu season now, so listeners, when you’re feeling like you’re coming down with a cold, you can just do the mold vial as prevention. That’s good to know.
Y: And then we have pollen/weed/grass in another vial. So many people are allergic to pollen and other growing things.
The next is dust and dust mites.
I had a reaction myself and I didn’t know that dust mites are such a common allergen, and many, especially kids who are treated for asthma, bronchitis and all the respiratory problems….and it’s really just basically an allergy to dust mites.
I was surprised.
I treated myself and I got over it.
D: So how do you know these kids have that allergy, or is it just a matter of when you treat them with this common dust mites, then their symptoms go away?
Y: Well, if they have environmental allergies, these are the allergies they have.
Also the last of the environmental kit is trees and wood. That is also pollen…more tree pollen.
And what I realized is that people are allergic to environmental allergies. These are the basic four that they are allergic to.
And I realized that also when they’re allergic to environmental stuff, you’re also allergic to cats and dogs.
Many people don’t think about it because they don’t have an animal. So it’s also possible they don’t even know when they are around a cat or a dog, which are everywhere….so maybe they have an allergic reaction and they don’t put it together that maybe it’s a cat or a dog.
D: So you suggest starting with the Base Kit, then doing the Environmental Kit.
Y: Or if you know you have environmental allergies, just get the Environmental Kit.
Now I’m also putting together a Food Allergy Kit. So if you know you’re more allergic to foods, you buy the Food Allergy Kit that has fish, protein (pork and beef and lamb), soy, and more so people can get a more complete kit.
The problem I had was that people would buy just The Allergy Kit, which is the foundational kit, and then they think that will treat them for all the allergies, but the base kit is just the start.
That’s why I have started to separate food allergies, environmental allergies. And if you have both, you can order extra vials.
But people should start with one of these three kits. And it’s more economical to buy a kit than to buy the vials separately.
And this way, they don’t have to put out a lot of money in the beginning.
D: I know it’s important to wait 48 hours in between treatments when you’re doing these kits.
Y: Some people have reactions: headache or feeling tired or something. Then I just suggest they wait another day. It’s not a race. And some people don’t feel anything, but the body is still reacting and the body needs to recuperate between the treatments. That’s why I want to have 2 days between.
D: That’s important. I did one of the treatments (I’m repeating the Base Kit and was on vial 2 or 3), but the next morning I work with swollen lymph nodes and fatigue, and I think I was a little bit under the weather when I did the treatments, so that’s another important thing.
Make sure you’re feeling healthy, not menstruating for women.
Y: Yes, the first 3-4 days of menstruation is a time that it’s better not to treat because you could have a reaction with the body is working hard menstruating.
D: And the same if you feel like you’re getting sick, which was the case for me. So I just held off and, now of course I’ve got to get back into it! It’s easy to forget!!
And then you use the stress vial with those vials as you do the treatment. So talk about that a minute, why the stress vial.
Y: When we have anything, a cold, disease or allergies, every single cell in the body is under stress. This is after experimenting and working with it in my clinic for many years with allergies.
I had one patient who always was so nervous and upset, and fidgety. So I created a stress vial and started to treat her with that together with the treatments and I had better results. So I started to use the stress vial with other patients too.
So I realized the result is better when you do the treatments with the Stress Vial.
D: And you send a stress vial with every kit?
Y: Every kit has a stress vial. And you can also treat stress with the stress vial anytime, even between treatments. It doesn’t have to be 48 hours between.
D: In fact, that’s the case with all the emotional vials, right?
Y: Yes, emotions can also be treated anytime…..even together with the kits.
D: It’s fascinating: There’s a vial for each kind of emotion: love, anxiety, stress, etc. So I’ve been using those quite a bit on myself and my daughter.
Y: Some ask why “love” is in the kit. Well, we don’t love ourselves enough. Some people have difficulty loving themselves. And this is one way to help with that.
D: Or thinking we’re not good enough.
Y: Exactly. All of that.
And for autistic children or any child on the Spectrum, I suggest to their mothers that when they send them off to school in the morning to treat them with anxiety or fear, and then when they come back, to treat them for anger.
D: Are there any other types of vials that can be done at any time without a strict regimen?
Y: After first 7 vials, you can practically treat the other vials in any order you want, including the environment. So, if you want to treat the trees before the mold, that’s fine.
And also if you want to repeat anything, you don’t have to repeat one through seven, for example if you still feel you’re allergic to sugar, you can that vial again.
And, by the way, I think everyone should threat themselves for sugar regularly.
D: Regularly because it’s in almost everything.
Y: Once you have treated and it has so to speak “stuck” with the sugar, you won’t have any sugar cravings anymore.
When that happens, you know that, okay, now that is good.
D: So we’re talking about cravings, can you talk a little about the weight vial and how that works?
Y: The Weight Management Vial is in the food allergy kit because everybody who has problems with weight has a blood-sugar imbalance. The Weight Management Vial balances the blood sugar, plus a lot of other hormones that have to do with feeling hungry or feeling full.
Some people can’t stop eating because they don’t feel full.
I have patients who say “the switch turned on, and now I know when I’m hungry, so I can stop eating.”
D: Wow, after how many treatments of the Weight Management Vial?
Y: I suggest that you use the weight vial with every vial to reinforce it all the time. (See comment below for clarification)
D: Can you use it with the base kit the first time around?
Y: Yes
D: So I would use the stress, the weight loss and whichever vial in the base kit I’m on.
Y: Yes
D: Ok, good to know.
Y: So that will help with the blood sugar, because that is what has to do with Hashimoto’s symptoms and diabetes…..every imbalance in the body…..comes from blood sugar imbalance.
D: How about adrenal fatigue and raised cortisol levels?
Y: I have a thyroid/adrenal vial too, but that also has to do with blood-sugar. So it’s really a biggie.
D: I want to explain to everyone how there are some rituals with the treatment and an intention before starting, and then statements that you intend for these allergies to be cleared throughout the body, all meridians systems, and then at the end, you make a command that this information be locked into the body’s energy field, and you do the Four Gates Treatment (we can talk about that later), and then you throw away the Q-tip which you put in your belly button, and you rub your hands vigorously, then you remove the vials.
Y: You remove the vials first.
D: That’s the point I’m going to ask you. I’m always mixing these things up and my daughter reminds me that I didn’t do it in the right order.
So I’m wondering, does it really make a difference if you swap the orders, or must one stick to that?
Y: It’s good to stick to the order.
First of all, I think the intention is very good, because that’s what you intend to do: you intend to get these allergies cured.
Order of the steps: Neurologically, you do the treatment, you do the Four Gates, you let the vials sit for a few moments (maybe 5 minutes), then you put them away, and THEN you rub your hands vigorously or you wash them.
Once you have treated yourself and then put the vials away, then you wash your hands to get rid of the energy from the vials.
It’s ok to remove the vials yourself. You don’t need someone else to do that.
D: So you don’t want to eat the food, if it’s a food, after doing the treatment.
Y: No, that’s why I also recommend that you do the treatments in the evening after dinner.
D: I was treating my daughter using the vial with chicken included, and she said that she had just eaten chicken and that it was still in her stomach!!!!
Y: That doesn’t matter! Whatever you eat beforehand doesn’t matter. It’s what you eat after the treatment.
D: So even if it’s still digesting in your stomach during the treatment, you’re ok?
Y: Yes, you’re good to go.
Pregnancy: I get many questions about that because is it ok to do the treatments during pregnancy?
Yes. The only thing is with the laser, just to avoid any kind of problems, DON’T SHINE THE LASER ON THE BELLY BUTTON, but do the treatments on the head.
You put the vials on the belly button, but you don’t shine through them. It will work anyway.
Close eyes and shine laser on the THIRD EYE and go over the head, and if you can, the upper spine, or as far on the upper spine as you can, and you do that 7 times.
(look for new post on her site…….it’s for non-pregnant too
It’s more effective and faster. About 4 or 5 minutes
For the pregnant mom who does the treatments, the baby is born without allergies. That’s the best!
D: And it’s not good to have your cell phone in your hands….
Y: Put cell phone away. It will interfere with the treatment, because your body is weaker if you have a cell phone that’s on.
I think everyone should turn the WiFi off during the night when we are still and the body is recuperating.
D: Talk about when someone has a severe allergy, like anaphylactic.
Y: Then they have to be very, very careful and they cannot treat themselves. They have to have a surrogate.
The easiest way to do it is: if your daughter can have an anaphylactic attack, you do the treatment: you put the vials on YOUR belly button. If you want to, you could put HER Q-tip with saliva on your belly, and she holds onto YOU.
And then the intention is for your daughter, and you intend that you are her.
Afterward, you can do the Four Gates on her (you do them on yourself and you can do them on her too).
The Four Gates Treatment:
It’s called The Four Gates because the points are called Liver 3 and Large Intestine 4. It’s said stimulating them enhances circulation of Qi and blood throughout the body, having a calm and analgesic effect.
It’s an important point for your colon. It is also a master point of the head. So if you have headaches, that’s a point you can massage.
For example, you start on your left hand, shine the laser 7-10 seconds on that point; Go to the left toe, then to the right toe, and then to the right hand and then go back to the left hand, repeating until you feel better.
D: So if you have a headache and don’t have your laser gun, you could just squeeze the point on your left hand?
Y: Either hand, depending where your headache is. Sometimes it’s on the left side so use that hand….but you could try both.
You can squeeze or use the laser.
Testing for Allergies
D: Let’s end with how to test for allergies. I know you teach muscle testing on your website. Is that the best method?
Y: There are several methods:
Ask for a “yes” and the ring will stay closed. Ask for a “no” and it will open.
You have to practice.
Then ask for a “no” and the body will go backward.
And then when you shop and there is a good you’re not sure about, you can hold it or the package and ask: “Is this food good for me?” If it is good, your body will fall forward. If it is not, the body will fall back – it wants to get away from it.
Y: You can even do it yourself. All these things take practice. YOU CAN LEARN IT. And if you’re interested, you just keep on practicing.
D: I encourage everyone to get to SimplyLivngWellness.com and just below this podcast recording, you’ll find links to all the resources that we discussed today.
You can also explore more about The Allergy Kit by clicking over to Ynge’s web site. All these instructional videos are on there. On her site, sign up with your name and email.
And YES, if you have questions, please write them here below the podcast and we will be happy to answer them.
Ynge, thank you so much for participating and taking time out of your busy schedule. I always enjoy talking with you about The Allergy Kit. It has saved me with my cat allergies. And I just need to be disciplined to make use of it more to get more benefits out of it.
I’M REALLY HAPPY TO KNOW IT’S GOING TO BE ONLY 4-5 MINUTES INSTEAD OF 15!!!
Y: You also had a poison ivy issue too!
Y: A good thing to do when you start a kit is to start a food diary. That way you will know when it is something that goes off. And by the way, even if it’s something environmental, you say, what did I do, was it something I smelled ….you can always go back and check if you write it constantly, it’s easy to go back and see what happened that day.
D: I see a local chiropractor who is a kinesiology chiropractor. She only deals with allergies. She has clearly seen that soy, cow, dairy are all offensive to my body. I really want to treat for those and then go back to her if it’s cleared.
Y: One thing I don’t recommend even if you don’t get treated for wheat, which is in the last vial in the kit, I don’t recommend anyone eat wheat because of the toxins…..the glyphosates. I don’t think anyone is allergic to glutton, but to the pesticides.
D: How about organic wheat.
Y: Yes you can have that but it’s very hard to digest. It’s hard on the digestive system.
D: The book Grain Brain? You’re a proponent of these ideas?
Y: Yes, absolutely? I read many years ago that people who are schizophrenic, if they are taken off of wheat, they don’t hear the voices anymore.
That’s the same with autism, and Alzheimer’s. If they could just stay away from wheat. Unfortunately, they crave it.
D: That’s why I do this podcast, why I have my blog, it’s just so fascinating to me to hear stories like that. I just wish more people knew about it. I wish more people were willing to try it and to have an open mind.
With an autistic kid, to actually put them on that strict diet, take wheat away from them and see what happens. I know you’ve seen over and over that success comes from a change in diet.
Y: With The Allergy Kit, all the kids on the A-Spectrum have such success!
I don’t say that everybody does, but if they follow guidelines, they can have very good results.
D: Thank you for coming Ynge, thank you listeners for tuning in, and we will be in touch and see you on our next podcast!

In this episode of Simply Living Wellness, Donna Abreu interviews guest Dr. Daniel Allen about the original practice of Osteopathy – hands on Osteopathy. It’s difficult to find doctors who practice this original form of hands on healing and body manipulation.
Dr Alex explains how this practice has changed over time and has become more of a traditional medical practice moving away from the hands on approach. This change is particularly true in the United States. In Canada and Europe, one can still readily access the hands on healing approach by practitioners of cranial osteopathic medicine.
What is osteopathy? Well, according to Medical News today, osteopathy is defied as…
“An osteopathic physician will focus on the joints, muscles, and spine. Treatment aims to positively affect the body’s nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. Manual medicine means that both diagnosis and treatment are carried out with the hands. Osteopathy is a complementary therapy.”
Let’s hear about it from Dr. Allen who has practiced and studied this practice for over 30 years.
Discover:
Dr Danial Allen was birthed by the same general doctor he saw growing up for commons colds or broken limbs. When he broke his leg, he was taken to this general doctor, who in the back room, made a wooden splint with his chainsaw while Dr Allen as a young child waited in the treatment room.
Fast forward to Dr Allen’s years in traditional medical school, he felt fortunate enough to travel to national conventions and weekend craniosacral workshops where he learned that the bones in the skull have inherent movement.
No one had mentioned this movement in biology, life sciences or medical school, and so this discovery fascinated Dr Allen. Medical doctors teach and talk about a fused skull that does not move. At first, Dr Allen was angry at this vast difference in teachings and beliefs.
He later discovered that the word “inherent” is what scientists dispute. “What makes the motion?”, they would question. “There are no muscles inside the central nervous system to cause this motion.” Yet, Dr Allen learned that motion does not just exist as fluid motion or breathing motion, or heart circulatory motion, but that motion is also inherent. It’s the cells themselves in the bones that expand and contract.
The bones in the skulls actually have joints in between them called sutures. These sutures have a synovial fluid in the articulations of the bones. If you look closely at each suture, it describes a motion. The sutures have bevels on one side and bevels on the other, as well as pivot points. If you look at just one bone it doesn’t seem possible, but if you look at the whole skull as a unit you see how the sutures/joints of the bones describe a motion.
For example, the temporal bone where it meets the parietal bone has a sliding nature. And where the temporal bone meets the sphenoid bone, you’ll find a pivoting nature. And where the temporal bone meets the occipital bone, you’ll find a jack lift – a jugular process that actually lifts up in an axis of motion that is consistent all throughout the skull.
Dr Allen realized that the bones are not fused at all, rather they have subtle motion, physiological joint motion. Later studies in Biodynamic Cranial Work taught him to learn to listen to the fluids of the body and to the the quality of the movement, the quality of the breathing and of the field of the nervous system.
Dr Allen practices the original, hands on form of osteopathy. Modern American osteopathy is full blown MD-style medicine. Yet, one can still find doctors and practitioners that practice the original form of this practice which is a hands-on approach, especially if you are willing to travel to Canada or Europe.
In the 1990’s, the insurance companies started to take over medicine, dictating what doctors could do or not do. Payments were made based on diagnostic codes, so the focus for doctors became identifying diagnostic codes and identifying and addressing those in their patient visits.
Medicine moved away from patient care and into managed care.
Medicine has moved so far away from natural healthcare. Our only hope is that the modern medical students who are lucky enough to have exposure on the side to modalities such as natural medicine, homeopathy, yoga practices, craniosacral practices, healthcare practices and nutrition practices can bring those interests into their medical training and can carve their way into more of a holistic medical practice. We are moving in that direction but still a couple of decades away.
Human beings are livings things and should be treated as living things, not as pieces and parts.
What students need it “full spectrum” training as Dr Allen calls it. If you are taking care of a human being one should have hands on training and experience. Hospitals work at handling medical diseases. Serious problems require traditional medicine and cannot benefit from just hands on work. Yet, Physicians can make more useful and clearer decisions, and rule out unknowns if they have additional hands on experiences and trainings.
Craniosacral is becoming quite popular and well known. Many massage therapists incorporate craniosacral into their work. It’s important to find a well trained practitioner. Even though the movement is so subtle and it feels like they’re hardly doing anything as you’re lying on the table, if it’s not done correctly, it could actually be damaging.
The other problem is that the craniosacral work may not be very effective by an inexperienced practitioner. So then you end up with a portion of the population who say they’ve tried a craniosacral treatment, and yet say, “it didn’t do anything for me. In fact, it gave me a headache, so I’m not going back.” Those experiences are a detriment to the movement of the hand on healing work.
So you do have to be careful who you let squish your head!
How does one find a qualified practitioner?
It’s good to get very specific and ask your practitioner about their experience and how they became a i worker. If they say they’ve taken a weekend course and have been doing it for 6 months, maybe that’s not the best person to see.
There are good non-physician body workers who are very, very good. Dr. Allen knows several. Some people just have a natural ability. He helped trained a nurse midwife once who was exceptional. She just took to the work, had a feel for living systems, and her hands were a gift to her. And she was able to use them to treat newborns.
Emotions that are felt or taken on from years ago (even from past lives or from our DNA that has been passed down by generations) often stay stuck in the body especially when they were traumatic. For example, it’s been known that if you had a great, great, great Grandmother who was burned at the stake for being a “witch”, that pain and trauma can be passed down throughout the generations in the DNA. Until those emotions are released from the cells DNA, it will continue to be passed down often causing emotional problems.
It’s important for the practitioner to hold space for the patient during these emotional releases, otherwise, it could actually cause more damage.
“Emotions have a huge impact. I love homeopathy for that reason. Maybe we don’t really understand the physiological basis of life”, says Dr. Allen.
Dr. Allen now working more in the vibrational world using tuning forks and vibrational bowls and singing bowls. Using those devices along with his hands on palpating the tissues response has been very effective for Dr. Allen.
Homeopathy is just a refined vibrational tool in the higher frequencies, as well as acupuncture and acupressure. All of it is shifting the vibrational whole. And then one may start to think that it’s maybe an ancestral vibration – even deeper than childhood, deeper than DNA. It’s a vibrational field that’s transmitted through the lineage of life… and that thought doesn’t even jump over into the spiritual realm. Now we’re getting really deep!
But we are still so far away from really understanding the vibrational energies.
Is it still possible for one to train and study on hands osteopathic medicine and build a practice such as Dr. Allen’s? Can one do it even without going through a full traditional MD training.
To study osteopathic medicine in the United States, one has to go the traditional medicine route for studies. Dr Allen prefers this route which he refers to as “full spectrum training”. His background in traditional medical allows him to make clearer decisions and rule out unknowns when doing the hands on work. In Canada and Europe, however, osteopathy training is separate from the traditional medical training. They don’t do hospital medicine or prescription medicine rather just study the hands on medicine.
Osteopathic medicine teachings, however, has been expanding quickly in the last 10-15 years. There were 18 schools in the US when Dr. Allen went to school, and now there are 38, thirty years later. This growth is partly due to political changes in medicine and partly due to modern educational systems trying to full needs in rural locations that were short of physicians. Doctor specialties have become widely popular in the medical field and specialty practices require larger populations, leaving the rural areas with a shortage of practicing physicians.
Dr. Allen has been involved in the clinical practice of Osteopathic Medicine for 22 years. Born in a rural family in western New York State, his early years were a mixture of basic skills from bailing hay and tractor driving to playing the piano and community theater performance.
Finding his way to Osteopathic medical school in Kansas City in 1986, He expected to become a general country physician. He focused his interest on the traditional osteopathic philosophies of “knowing the patient down to the bone” with developing his hands on skills. In the summer of 1987, Dr. Allen took his first week long Cranial Osteopathy Course and experienced the inherent fluid breathing life mechanism for the first time.
From that point on his life was altered. He knew he could not go back to just following the hard science model that human life was simply a complex system of chemical reactions.

In this episode of Simply Living Wellness, Donna Abreu interviews guest, Ynge Ljung, about what causes allergies, sensitivities, and food intolerances. Allergies have become so prevalent today. Almost everyone suffers from some kind of allergy or food intolerance. Most people don’t even know they have allergies.
An allergy is not just about sneezing or having itchy eyes. Diseases such as celiac disease, Alzheimer’s, and Hashimoto and celiac are thought to be caused from wheat. In this episode, we talk about what causes an allergy or sensitivity. We also look at solutions. If you are suffering from any kind of condition such as joint or muscle pain, a chronic illness, or sensitivities to certain foods, and would like to feel better, then this episode if for you.
An allergy is a false reaction to something that should be good for you, especially in the case of food allergies. Childhood allergies exist for children to build up their immune systems, yet from an overload of vaccinations, many of which contain aluminum and mercury still (a deadly combination), the natural defenses of the body cannot develop. With repeated generations of vaccinations, babies today are born much weaker than generations before.
If you had an immune system working at 100% you wouldn’t get any allergies or illnesses.
The introduction of fast food in the 1950’s played a large component to the development of allergies. In China, Type II diabetes didn’t exist until the fast food chains were established. Now, approximately 12% of the Chinese population has Type II diabetes.
Fast foods contain chemical additives and very little “real” food.
Eating Organic is the number one solution to preventing allergies. Food is they medicine. Ynge talks about the significant importance of eating organic. The heavy spraying of roundup on crops (wheat in particular) in the United States infuses glyphosate into the foods. Glyphosate destroys the pathway where the enzymes, probiotics and good bacteria need to travel.
How can we digest the food without digestive enzymes?
Ynge tells the story of becoming a NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques) practitioner and using this protocol to treat her patients’ allergies – her focus being on autistic children. NAET treatments were too costly and time consuming for parents, and so Ynge developed The Allergy Kit which allows parents to treat in the comfort and convenience of their own homes. One kit can be used for all members of the family over and over again, indefinitely.
Each Allergy Kit has seven vials plus a stress vial. Ynge tells the story of one patient, a child, that had severe eczema. After treating the child for chicken, a key component of the base Allergy Kit, her eczema went away completely.
Discover why even vegans who don’t eat eggs or chicken need to be treated for these foods.
Another essential component of the base Allergy Kit is sugar. The average American eats an approximately 70 pounds of sugar in one year.
Learn how to get rid of sugar cravings for good.
Over half of the American population is on an anti-depressant. Yet Ynge explains how serotonin, the “feel good” hormone, is created in the gut not in the brain. A specific bacteria has to travel this same pathway to pick up the serotonin hormone and then travel to the brain through the vagus nerve. As we’ve already pointed out, glyphosate blocks this pathway preventing serotonin from ever reaching the brain.
Antidepressants are the not the solution to depression, only a band aid.
Treat the gut and watch the depression disappear.
Allergies and intolerances can be to literally anything including emotions! Feeling like you never have quite enough in your bank to pay all your bills each month? Well, you could actually be allergic to money!
You can go to a chiropractor that specializes in applied kinesiology and get muscled tested for different foods, your supplements, and other environmental factors such as the many toxins that exist in our food, in the air and water. I have also been to a local chiropractor that has a biofeedback machine that tests for these items. It can get quite costly and time consuming, however, to test for every item possibbly, including emotions.
There is a blood test you can do from your own home as well as a test that uses a hair sample. You can learn more at Modern Allergy Management.

Ynge is the author of Finding Your Lost Child which you can find on Amazon, the Kindle Version. The published book will be coming out in May of next year in book stores.
Trying to lose weight? Want to quite smoking? The Allergy Kit has way more uses than to just address sensitivities. Here are some of the kits available for a variety of conditions:

In this episode of the Simply Living Wellness Podcast, Donna Abreu interviews guest, Anna-thea, about how to develop a deeper, more spiritual, more nurturing relationship with our bodies through the practice of self-nurturing our sexuality by use of a yoni egg practice. She teaches us about heart-based expressions of sexuality, about how to love ourselves, how to set boundaries for ourselves, and how to communicate our authentic self.
Anna-thea talks about how, as women, we can connect to our divine feminine essence, how to access those softer, subtler energies inside of us, and how we can notice subtle responses in our bodies that we aren’t normally aware of. The world today contains so much unhealthy projection around our sexuality that is not supportive to human growth and expansion.
This episode is for you if you want to heal yourself from shame around sexuality from previous trauma, or conditioning from how sexuality is portrayed in the media? Maybe your Father was a sex addict or derogatory towards women. Maybe your partner is a porn addict. Maybe you want to experience more love and pleasure around your sexuality.
This episode is also for you if you want to learn how to balance and strengthen your pelvic floor, and if you wish to gain the many physical and spiritual benefits of a healthy pelvic floor.
This topic is so much more than sexual education. It’s about including our sexuality into our entire being.
In a previous episode with Anna-thea, we learned about heart-based communication in order to improve your relationships. Do you find yourself in frequent arguments with your spouse or partner? Do you argue with co-workers or your children? If you want to learn about heart-based communication, we encourage you to go back and listen to that episode. Learn how not to be the nagging wife, NOR the wife who puts on a pretty face and pretends everything is alright.
I also interviewed Anna-thea about Managing Your Emotions. If you are interested in learning the secrets of how to transform your life by learning how to reclaim your body as a woman, and how to empower yourself to awaken your divine feminine power, then I highly recommend that you go back and listen this episode.
Yoni is an ancient tantric term, the Sanskrit word for vagina that means sacred space. Yoni has no negative or sexual connotation making it a perfect word to describe this part of the female anatomy. The Sanskrit term for the male anatomy is lingam which means wand of light. Using these ancient expressions for the human sexual anatomy shifts our relationship with this part of our bodies.
Anna-thea studied and received her certification at the Tantric Institute Integrated Sexuality. She is the author of the book, Empowering Yourself by Loving Your Body: The woman’s guide to reclaiming yourself as sacred .
Anna-thea also does astrology readings which are more than just readings. She provides coaching during the readings.

The yoni egg practice, used mostly by the concubines in ancient China, is an ancient Chinese practice used to strengthen and tone the female anatomy. A yoni egg is crystal egg that is placed in the vagina. Traditionally, crystal eggs made of jade were used but Anna-thea likes to use and suggest rose quartz crystal eggs also. Each has different properties which we learn about in this episode.
Both spiritual and physical benefits.
A yoni egg practice can provide these beautiful spiritual benefits:
Crystals also hold intentions, so it’s a good idea to treat it as a friend, perhaps naming it and blessing it upon insertion. “Let this yoni egg keep me safe.”
Everyone has both masculine and feminine energies. It doesn’t matter if you are female or male.
Different crystals hold different properties and energies. The jade egg carries masculine energies that when inserted into the female anatomy can create a nice balance in women. Some of the masculine qualities include:
Rose quartz crystal holds more subtle, feminine energies and helps with qualities such as increasing emotional warmth, nurturing and balancing. To learn more about the differences between these energies, you can read Anna-thea’s blog post: How To Tell If You Show More Masculine Or Feminine Energy
Our female anatomy is not just about sexual pleasure or birthing babies. Our female anatomy is also about our own feminine health and being healthy in our bodies. When we remove the arousal part of sexual attention, we can then work with deeper energies by nurturing the muscles, increasing pelvic floor balance and also give “her” some relaxation and downtime.
The physical benefits of a yoni egg practice includes:

In this episode of Simply Living Wellness Podcast, Donna Abreu interviews guest, Ingrid Turner, about what it means to be a psychic medium and in alignment with your true life’s path. She talks about how to be spiritually connected and receive guidance from spirit guides, the Divine, or one’s higher self.
If you are struggling with your current life path, whether it be your career, or with relationships, or wanting more clarity on your life’s purpose, or you just feel that something is missing in general from your life, then this is the episode for you. Ingrid Turner, author, educator, spiritual psychic medium with a background in marketing, became an ordained minister and now has her own ministry where she teaches students how to become spiritual, intuitive coaches and educators.
In this episode, Ingrid teaches us about the differences between a psychic medium, channeling and intuition, each being a vehicle to bring through spirit. She explains how there are different levels of energy and beings of different vibrational stance. Your vibration determines what kind of energies you connect to. Divine spirit, for example, has a higher frequency, one of love and faith.
While Ingrid grew up in a very spiritual household championed by her father, there was no talk about channeling or psychic abilities. She tells the story of her first channeling experience when a spirit came to her with a poem which Ingrid transcribed. Her parents were so surprised at her choice of words – quite sophisticated for a 7-year-old.
Ingrid tells us about her years of struggle when she had shut down her intuitive and psychic abilities and lived out of alignment from her own life’s purpose. She was a people pleaser and lived a life of being a good girl to everyone else but herself. She lived in a toxic relationship and with addictive drinking. She hit rock bottom when shame took over.
“It’s so easy for people to use numbing agents like alcohol and drugs, TV and social media in today’s world, because of all the negativity being broadcasted. Life is hard, life is a struggle. People think it’s the norm.”
Ingrid enrolled in Alcoholics Anonymous where she regained her spiritual foundation which opened her up to accepting an invitation to a shamanic healing event. This event was transformational. In fact, Ingrid experienced a “cracking open” as she likes to call it, a dramatic and abrupt spiritual awakening. This “cracking open” was so abrupt that Ingrid felt ungrounded for an entire year after, yet support showed up in the most unexpected ways.
Ingrid knew however, it was time to change her career and dedicate her life to be an intuitive healer and educator.
Ingrid would literally feel physical pain and depression when went back to working marketing projects.
After working as an intuitive healer and medium, Ingrid received the clear message from her guide Monz to open a ministry and educate others in doing this spiritual healing work.
In September 2017, Ingrid opened a church called the Bhava Spiritual Mission with the purpose of starting a ministry so that she could teach her work to others. In April 2018, she launched her first ministry with its year-long training program.
The first half of this international, online program focuses on teaching people to connect with their divine spirit and to develop a spiritual practice for themselves. Part of her job as the educator is to guide her students on when they are connecting to spirit versus when they are in their minds. This helps students to feel the difference, so they can practice on their own.
We can all connect to spirit. We can all become a psychic medium. This work is not reserved for “special people”.
The second half focuses on teaching students marketing skills and assisting them in launching their healing business. Students who join this program or take any of Ingrid’s classes become part of this international, online community and support group for life as part of her Forever Training Program guarantee.
Ingrid had to break through her own blocks and preconditioning with the tie between spiritual work and earning money. In her one-on-one healing sessions and in her courses, she works with her clients and students to break through their own financial blocks.
You can learn more about Ingrid Turner and the Bhava Spiritual Mission at her website, http://BhavaMission.org or email her directly at [email protected]

If you are struggling with your current life path whether it be your career, or with relationships, or wanting more clarity on your life’s purpose, or you just feel that something is missing in general from your life, then this is the episode for you. Lisa A. Clayton, MS, Author, Master Trainer, is an Ordained Angel Minister and the creator of the Inner Leader Movement – A Deeper Understanding of Heart Intuition.
Lisa has been teaching leadership programs of many kinds including personality assessments such as Meyers Briggs to corporate staff all over the world for many years now. The training was always external focused – do these actions steps, be this way or that way. It wasn’t until she trained on internal connection and connection to source that she began to follow her own true heart’s path. She then developed her own learning model that taught students how to increase potential by connecting to source through their hearts.
Lisa has always been intuitive and brought this skill to her teachings. She is able to intuitively connect to herself and to her students in class – to feel and activate the vibration and energy of the individuals.
Following one’s heart intelligence means to navigate through life from the heart by activating heart intuition, by grounding, and by connecting to source through the heart. Lisa takes us through a simple exercise for heart activation that we can do on a daily basis in just a couple of minutes.
This rapid growth, however, can be fearful and confusing, so we need tools to navigate life with heart consciousness. We need inner leadership, even more that ever, which can be achieved with heart intelligence.
Normally, intelligence is defined by one’s IQ (intelligence quotient) – the total score derived from several standardized tests designed to assess human intelligence. In the 1980’s however, Howard Gardner, a professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education at Harvard University, opened the doorway for defining intelligence to include other realms such as interpersonal, kinesthetic, linguistic, and musical intelligence.
In 1995, Daniel Goleman brought light and research to emotional intelligence, responsible for taking emotions out of the closet and into the forefront. He suggested that emotions have intelligence because emotions are all in the heart.
Emotional Intelligence awareness led to research awareness on positive psychology led by Barbara Fredrickson a Professor of Psychology and Principal Investigator of the Positive Emotions and Psychophysiology Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. She researched and teaches about emotional states, such as love and gratitude, and was one of the first to take suggest a collective intelligence that all humans can be connected to.
Following Barbara Fredrickson, came the interest and research by Heartmath of heart intelligence. What they learned is that feelings of care, compassion, appreciation, as well as breathing into heart increases heart intelligence which then increases overall intelligence.
Magnetometers can measure electromagnetic fields and shows that the electromagnetic field coming from the heart broadcasts about 8 – 9 feet from the heart, whereas the brain’s electromagnetic field only spans a few inches. It has been proved that the heart sends more messages to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.
Why is it so important to lead from our hearts?
We have been so programmed to focus on our minds. We are rewarded for mind learning which include schooling, training, certifications, degrees, and diplomas. Yet the brain loves to spin us into the ego way of living. We are in a new age of consciousness and the heart is earning to take the lead.
Simple heart connection exercises like the following will increase clarity, intelligence and
When you wake up in the morning what are you going to broadcast to the world through your heart?
Do you find yourself leaning over your meal?
Are you hunched over your desk at work or while driving your car?
Take notice and spend even just two minutes doing a Vertical Alignment and watch clarity and creativity increase in your daily life.
Lisa has created her own heart intuition development program that she calls Inner Leader. Some of the many benefits gained from this program include:
1. Clarity
Increase clarity for seeing the next steps in building your life, relationships, business, career, and opportunities in general. What is your true heart’s desire to align with you with your purpose?
2. Heart Exploration
Learn about heart qualities, that help to open up the heart. Experience the Power of emotions.
3. Rewire emotions that are draining you
Lisa helps to identify emotions that may be blocking heart activation and inner leadership. The blocks could be caused by fear, loss, everyday news, grief, trauma or any other cause. The power of love is often hidden in these emotions. In the program, Lisa helps clear those blockages so that one can experience a deep level of healing.

UPDATE 9/4/2018: Since recording this podcast, I have noticed a significant change in the two chips in my front lower teeth. I have two chips in my lower front two teeth that felt like small holes along the edges. When rubbing my tongue along the tops of these teeth, the edges felt sharp. Just yesterday, I noticed that when I feel this area with my tongue it feels much smoother and the holes are filling in! Check back at this post for more updates.
This is going to sound crazy, but I’ve learned from a holistic dentist that one can grow new teeth. It takes a few years, but if you follow this protocol, you can grow your teeth back! Not a lot of people have the patience or discipline to follow the protocol, but I know of one person locally in my town who has had success. One of her fillings was pushed out from the new growth!
I am one year into the protocol. I have a while to go, but one of my fillings is showing signs of separating from my tooth. I am soooo excited to have new teeth and follow the protocol diligently.
Our teeth do grow back, just like our hair and our nails. It just takes a very long time to grow new teeth and we do things that inhibit the growth which we will get into shortly. There’s a lot of research popping up about this lately. Maybe you’ve seen advertisements, like I have, about tooth regeneration. Scientists are trying to develop materials that speed up the process. They call it stem cell therapy for teeth. The protocol I am following promotes teeth regeneration naturally.
I’ve had a lot of dentistry work done over the years. I remember one time in my teens, I had 13 cavities in one visit to the dentist. I have also had five root canals, and two implants. Then, two of my root canals started to give me trouble, so I went to see a holistic dentist named Dr. Teresa Isabel in Auburn, California, which is which is close to me. I was having pain and discomfort in both of these teeth.
Dr. Isabel identified two secondary infections in my roots. She really didn’t have a whole lot of recommendation for me, as my situation is kind of a bleak. There is not a whole lot that could be done. She said I could go see an endodontist to see if maybe I could have those root canals redone. I did go see one, but he said that the tooth would just get re-infected due to too much bone loss. He suggested having it pulled. I decided to hold off, but eventually the pain got so bad, I had to have the tooth pulled. I couldn’t wait for the tooth to grow back.
My other infected root canal is doing much better. It’s not giving me the pain that I was having last year. Occasionally, I feel some discomfort. The holistic dentist said that the discomfort is often due to inflammation caused by the toxins coming in through the ears and nose. He also said that it’s common for some recommended dental work to be unnecessary.
I had heard about this holistic dentist twice before, but didn’t give it much thought. With the increasing pain in two of my teeth, and having visited Dr. Isabel with not much of an action plan, I paid attention when his name came up yet a third time. I called him to make an appointment, but had to wait six months before I could get in. I was lucky that he was taking new patients at the time. I had a long talk with him over the phone and a friend had given me his protocol, so I began following the protocol shortly after that phone call.
What I learned from this holistic doctor is that the conventional methods for teeth hygiene are literally scraping away all of our new growth. And toxins in the air promote decay and infection in the teeth and roots. And our teeth don’t get the proper nutrients to promote new growth. So, the protocol addresses the following concerns:
This protocol I am about to share with you is a radical 180 from what we all have grown up with and learned our entire lives from our parents and from our dentists. Are you ready?
I’ll address each challenge here:
Step A: Preserve the New Growth
Are you still with me?
And now on to the next part…
Step B: Clear out toxins entering your nose and ears.
If you know anything about the benefits of using a nedi pot, you probably know that a lot of junk enters our bodies through our nasal passage. Well, the nose and the ears are a direct route to the jaw – the roots, gums and teeth. We need to remove that junk daily, in fact twice per day is ideal, to prevent inflammation and infection and decay in the jaw.
Instructions:
Using a nasal irrigator to clean each nasal passage once per day but preferably twice. A nedi pot works also, but the nasal irrigator is preferred because it gets deeper in the sinuses. He also recommends to cleaning out the ears. Both nasal and ear irrigation takes some getting used to. It will feel like second nature after a while!
Use this mixture in the irrigator and use a full syringe full for each side of the nostril. Then give a small squirt into one ear while tilting the head to the side. Immediately follow by straightening your head to allow the water to drip back out of the ear. Repeat on other side.

Step C: Clean and Nourish Your Teeth
Cleaning your teeth is now a three-step process. This process will surely keep your teeth as well as nourished to promote new growth.
First, you are going to rinse your mouth well with vitamin C water using using the same Alive! Vitamin C powder. Then you are going to create a homemade toothpaste using a high quality, plain yogurt such as the Nancy’s or Stoneyfield or Strauss brand. I use a plain sheep yogurt from the health food store, as I tend to avoid cow dairy.
Instructions:
To make the yogurt paste, first steep one organic green tea bag in 8 oz. of cold or room temperature water for 20 minutes. The Equal Exchange brand is good, but any organic green tea is fine.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of the organic green tea to 1 cup of whole milk organic plain yoghurt. Store that in the refrigerator in closed lid jar. You’ll use 1 tablespoon of the yoghurt/tea mixture and mix in 1/2 teaspoon of food grade diatomaceous earth to make your paste. Store the paste in small jar also in the refrigerator. This paste will last you about 4 brushings.
Create a vitamin C water rinse using 1/4 t. of the same Alive! Vitamin C powder with 8 oz. of water. Store that in the refrigerator also. When traveling, I have left both the paste and the vitamin C water out in room temperature for several hours.
Twice per day:

STEP D: Promote New Stem Cell Regeneration
The last thing I want to cover is what I am doing to speed up new growth. The holistic dentist suggested taking these digestive enzymes, because they increase stem cell growth. These enzymes are marketed as digestive enzymes and there are many different kinds on the market. I use this particular brand he recommended, because he knows the manufacturer. They are very clean, meaning they contain no extra garbage or toxic fillers in them: Klaire Labs Vital-Zymes Complete.
There are many types of enzymes on the market and most are used for increasing food digestion. Some types are best for fat digestion and some are better for protein digestion. Some are just all around good for digesting food. What my holistic dentist learned is that if these enzymes are taken away from food, they promote stem cell regeneration.
How does he know?
My holistic dentist goes to international conventions for stem cell research and gets to meet researchers and scientist from all over the world. He studies the latest stem cell research and applies what he learns to teeth regeneration. He figured that stem cell regeneration in other parts of the body can also be applied to our teeth. As a result, he developed and modifies this protocol based on what he learns as new research is completed.
I originally took digestive enzymes for my injured shoulder…
I was experiencing chronic shoulder pain at the time that I went to see the holistic dentist. I had injured my left shoulder at consecutive exercise classes during which I overextended the shoulder muscles. I was dealing with the chronic pain for several years and could not get it to heal. I laid off those muscles, skipping the shoulder exercises. I did physical therapy. Nothing was helping. When I told my dentist about my chronic shoulder pain, he immediately suggested the digestive enzymes.
He explained that the enzymes will promote healing of scarring from injuries whether internal or external. The enzymes increase stem cells in the area of the scarring. He said to take a picture of any external scars and watch them disappear! I never took any pictures, but after only one week of the enzymes, my shoulder pain significantly decreased. It was amazing! My shoulder is now back to normal, however, I do tend to overdo it on the exercises, so I am careful to baby these muscles and occasionally experience the shoulder pain. I still take the enzymes for the new growth in my teeth.
The trick is to take these enzymes on an entirely empty stomach, so first thing in the morning is best, and late at night before bed at least 3 hours away from food. If you take them closer to food, it won’t harm you, it will promote food digestion. Taken with food, however, won’t help with stem cells. He suggested one tablet twice per day, but you can take more to speed up the process. Just be aware, that your body might show signs of detoxification, such as a full body rash. I experienced a rash when I increased the dosage, but it only lasted about 20 minutes.

Curious about this holistic dentist?
I was told I could share his protocol, but that I could not publicly share his name. I would love to interview him on this podcast, but he would rather stay under the radar for reasons I’m not going to mention. I’m sure many of you can probably imagine why. His protocol promotes self-empowerment, it promotes self-healing and it prevents visits to the dentist. It basically puts traditional dentist out of business.
I look forward to your questions and comments. If I cannot answer the questions, I will log them and ask the dentist at my next visit.
