We welcome friend of the show John Mateus back for a discussion (and debate) about modern law enforcement, specifically pushback stemming from the George Floyd killing and #DefundPolice.

On today’s show, we start off with a discussion of Jon’s weekend trip to Maine under somewhat loosened restrictions from what he’s used to. Then we ponder the degree to which wearing of masks could have symbolic meaning to individuals seeking to make a statement of convalescence to (or opposition of) authority. Conrad has been doing a lot of reflecting on life lately and this becomes apparent in the last segment, which takes the show to a bit of a dark place.
