Recent studies from King’s College London and Ipsos indicate that nearly one-third of Gen Z men believe a wife’s duty is to obey her husband, with 33% asserting that men should have the final say in a relationship. 

While critics point to the "toxic" influence of social media algorithms in radicalizing young men, proponents argue this trend is a direct rejection of modern emotional vulnerability in favor of clear authority and masculine leadership. 

As the debate intensifies, the clash between the "modern simp" who embraces emotional openness and the rising traditionalist who demands respect signals a deepening cultural divide over the future of romance and the family unit.
