The story of the world is basically this: Creation and Redemption… the middle 8 chapters are all titled sin. 

Where did sin come from? 

You must ask where evil comes from. 

If God created all things, but he cannot create evil then where did evil come from? 

EVIL CAME FROM GOOD.

It came from Good… Let me explain. 

Sin is the little parasite that eats away at good. 

You always have good, but when you do not do good… those are the little parasites that ruin it. 

WHAT IS SIN? = DOING THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT GOD DESIRES. 

  -  All I have to do to sin is to do the opposite of Gods desires. 

  -  All I have to do to be evil is to do the opposite of Gods desires. 

An evil genius is still a genius. But he took the good and added his own sinful parasites to it… and in time it will be evil known to all **(but still evil from the beginning) 

**Sin is evil not only because it is the opposite of God, but because of its nature.

(Sin has an ever growing appetite=that is what makes it evil)

i.e. Sin is wrong

Its voracious appetite makes it evil. You can’t tame sin! 

How did satan get Adam and Eve to sin? He took the truth and added a parasite to it. Something that would slightly change the truth…AND GROW

What is that parasite? Our good intentions.

We excuse our sin due to our good intentions.

Sin is simply choosing our wants over Gods best for us. It is choosing not to do what God desires.
