Sinead Battarbee was looking for a sense of community and so 5 years ago founded Marsden Racers UK. This is the first in a series of podcasts exploring some of the running clubs that we all love. Marsden Racers started as an idea and has grown into an inclusive running community in Marsden, West Yorkshire, UK. In this conversation we chat about how the club has developed. We touch on how much some of the runners have achieved, first half marathons, first 10 mile run, first ultra, representing Great Britain! This is a local community club for runners of all levels. Sinead and her husband Ian have built a wonderful running and cycling club and it was a real pleasure to chat about the story.
