One of the blessings in our culture is that we are inundated with the gift of music--it is everywhere and all the time. It is in the house, in the car, in the work-place, in the hallways, and on our phones. Music is not just part of our culture, it is at the core of our culture. In today's Psalm, we are reminded that in Christ we have a new song. God has made us His new creation, thus we can sing of love, salvation and freedom. Psalm 96 is a great reminder that we can indeed "Sing a New Song" because of Jesus and his love!
