Sing, sing, and reclaim the space!

Radio Khiaban is an online platform dedicated to Iranian women feminist interventions, transgressive performances and singing in the public spaces of Iran. While women's voices remain forbidden in public, this voice constantly creates myriads of innovative ways to occupy the space. This radio is thus a place for free speech and expression, a collective act of inspiring everyday performances and acts of resistance of women who are forced to segregation and exclusion, to reclaim public space through singing and other everyday performances. It is a platform to celebrate women's diverse voices and talents in and from Iran.
