Sandra and Tricia have known each other for nearly 20 years. Never married, no children and not surrounded by cats, they talk (for over 2.5 hours; we edited this down) about the joys of singlehood, being married to your career, needing time alone to create, what an introvert actually is, a clue to knowing if you're with your soulmate or not, the often annoying societal and cultural expectations foisted upon women, having to compromise yourself in order to fit into a relationship (sometimes without realizing you're doing it), the fact that single people are indeed good at relationships, and why they will never settle.
