Killing 15 Minutes

Sinnerful Adolf Laundenburg

Listen Later

Adolf Laudenberg, a serial killer in California during the 1970s, murdered four women. Despite confessing to multiple people, the police did not follow up until DNA technology became available. Laudenberg's modus operandi was to pick up drunk or ill women who reminded him of his ex-wife, bind, rape, and strangle them. He was initially questioned by the police but released due to lack of physical evidence. In 2002, he confessed again and was caught through DNA evidence. He was found guilty of one murder and died in prison in 2015. The police were unable to prove his involvement in two other suspected murders.
