On the 21 April 2011 in Nantes, France, the bodies of Agnès Dupont de Ligonnès and her four children as well as the family’s two dogs were discovered buried in their garden. Only one member of the family was missing: the patriarch, Xavier. He has never been found, but the trail he left cast a dark shadow.
