I’ve been thinking a lot lately about reconciling with my limitations and how the weight of the expectations I carry are often self-imposed. Maybe that’s your story too?
.
Our shoulders will always buckle under the weight of this 🌍, the pressure of it all, because it was never meant for us bear.
.
“Casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.”
1 Peter 5:7, CSB

How uncomfortable it is to be met with these limitations head-on and lean into that weakness. How wonderfully difficult and necessary it is to lay it all down. When my grip is too tight, what a relief it is to let it all go and relinquish control. As if there was ever an alternative?!

Sweet friend, this is finding His strength in our weakness.
.
This is refining. This is pruning. This is His loving kindness. This is His tender mercy meeting us in the midst of the already and the not yet. What a beautiful tension we get to live in! Cast your cares on Him today
