Today we're bringing you the stories of two extraordinary African American women who accomplished great success despite many challenges in their lives. Sissieretta Jones was a pioneering opera singer, born in Portsmouth, VA, who died in poverty. We'll talk to Maureen Lee, author of "Sissieretta Jones: The Greatest Singer of her Race, 1868-1933." Pauli Murray broke many barriers as a civil rights activist, poet, lawyer and priest.
