The thing about white privilege is that white people don’t see it. “White privilege” doesn’t mean your life hasn’t been hard, it simply means that your skin color isn’t one of the things making it harder.
This series is meant to share experiences of real people who have experienced racism and still experience it. The goal is to shine a light so that we ALL see it and take actionable steps to do something about it.
NuLuv Jones is a best-selling author, former Airborne Army Captain and 12-1/2 year Army vet who survived Desert Storm, a debilitating plane crash, is a Mediator for the State of GA, and the premier Parent Right Now Expert who guides parents through Basic Training without the need for combat boots. NuLuv shows “close-to-the-edge” parents find their center and improve their interpersonal, partnering and parenting skills to build more congruent and loving families. NuLuv has been featured on the Tavis Smiley Radio Show where she shared how she successfully parented her own triplet sons through a failing education system in an apathetic community.
