No chairs allowed. That was the rule for the temple. It was this way because the priests work was never done.

Day after day they stood to perform their religious duties, offering again and again the same sacrifices that could never take away sins.

That was their plight.

But Jesus was different.

After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.

Why? Because his work was finished. His sacrifice took away your sins once and for all. And there's is nothing more to be done.

You can rest from all the hard-work of trying to appease God or to earn his righteousness.

Here's the good news, God has a chair for you. Sit down and rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
