Hello and welcome to Sit Down with RHS - a podcast from the Royal Hospital School where we open the school doors to get to know members of the RHS community. This academic year, we're focussing on the theme of Global Awareness and Citizenship.  Today we are sitting down with Deputy Bursar, John Reid, a key member of the RHS community who has many responsibilities to do with the RHS estate and its operations. We hear about John’s journey through the school, and the variety of roles he’s taken over the years; from his involvement in the recent ‘excellent in all areas’ inspection of the school to his distinguished career in the royal air force and how he came to be awarded an OBE!
