Some people call me disabled, but I am going to prove to the world that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!

Twenty years ago, I had already done many things in my life. I had been married, written songs, ran the Fantasy Mail Order Company, been in the army, had earned an advanced degree from a prestigious university, ran my own business and I was working as a successful chemical engineer for one of the biggest companies in the United States.

Then my life changed when my business caught on fire. I was trapped in the fire and the fumes cut off the flow of blood to my brain for a short time. After the accident, I found that I was alive, but they told me I was "disabled." I had developed a severe speech impediment and had lost the fine motor skills in both my hands.

I was unable to work as a chemical engineer and I had lost my business.

But every problem is an opportunity!

Now I am going on to pursue my dreams. I am spending my time improving my mind, and body, and dedicating myself to projects that can serve and inspire the world around me.
