Today's readings prepare us for the next two great days in the Church's calendar, the Ascension of the Lord and the Decent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. In order to prepare us for these two great days, we read about the peace of God that should result in our lives because of these two great events. A peace that comes from our loving faith in Christ speaking to us through His Church.
