Today I’d like to take some time to consider the commonalities among all theological beliefs, stemming from the very beginning of humankind. We must be willing to set aside our bravado and ego, and allow the heart to soften. Opening our heart exposes one to a world of unity and understanding that some may never know. But first, let us take a minute to push away our thoughts of a demonstrated practice, journey beyond those demands of obedience and assimilation, to that of the underlying doctrine. The understanding of a group of figures we’ll call “the deities”. Our god, or gods. Our finite understanding of an infinite being, and our relationship with him/her/them. Come with me now, and let us explore together the path of unity.
