The Vegas Golden Knights were beat at their own game: speed. The Colorado Avalanche took the game to the Knights from the literal start (shift one goal) to the finish.
At least we got to see our boy Belly back in the T-Mobile Arena. It was not an ideal Nevada Day celebration though.
The lone Golden Knights Goal Scorer: William Karlsson (WILD BILL SCORED!)
Losing Goaltender: Marc-Andre Fleury (4 GA)
Golden Knights slip to 7-5-0 while the Avalanche improved to 8-1-1. They hot.
