Erik is an illustrator, and educator living in San Diego. I met Erik while I was attending the Watts Atelier in Encinitas. He's known for his work as an illustrator on Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, TOR, Marvel, DC and many more. I first learned about his work at LACMA when he was featured in Guillermo del Toro's personal art collection. Erik has been one of my primary mentors, and has been an inspiration for several years. In this episode we talk about his perseverance trying to be an artist, and what it takes to do something truly great.
