Listening is a critical skill that paves the way to cement the foundation of learning a language and all other skills. This skill is internalised hence interesting tools must be put in place for learner’s to turn into active listeners. The learning outcomes can be achieved if the teacher uses these tools effectively. The first set of episodes are dedicated to teach listening skills through different types of activities. They are easy to conduct by the teacher and great for learner’s to be involved in. In the fist episode along with a set of specific activities there is a section devoted to why to listen both in general and specific situations. Why it should be taught at elementary level and focus on learner always.
