the first preaching was in 2006 For the People of Color Awards in the Gary IN Diocese.

in February of 2014 I preached a version for Fr. Richard Fragomeni’s installation to Full Professor at Catholic Theological Union Chicagothe final time was May 2021 for Partnered in Mission and included this introduction: I am anchoring this talk in the context of me, an African-American Roman Catholic woman, born in the United States in 1962. It is my hope that you enter in and find discomfort, challenge, joy, community, love, authentic witness, yourself.

What is interesting is that this is the 3rd sermon that uses the same scripture text. Well in this case we include a few more verses. I wonder why I never noticed this before?
