All instruments, songs, production, and mastering by Michael W. Dean.
…Except Cave chanting on Release the Artisanal Tardigrades by Sir Michael Higgins and a bipedal ape with a bad hip. And…
The Shoulder Thing That Goes Up has a bit of talking from a cool guy and a horrible woman. She used to have power, but now is back to yelling at strangers on the street, probably.
TRACK LIST:
These songs are microtonal:
The rest are in standard 12-TET. However…..These are Xenochronous (Zappa’s technique of using intact parts from other songs in new songs):
I used parts from the BipTunia songs But you don’t look Sick, Marc Sporkolova, and I’m a Lone, Broke Cowpoke From Biptunia’s 27th album, and the song A Prominent Albedo Feature on Mars from BipTunia’s albums 53-54. I combined different synth lines and bass lines from different songs, but also wrote new parts around and on top of them.
ABOUT THE ALBUM COVER
Cover is a photo by Michael W. Dean of the Comet 62P/Tsuchinshan, and a bunch of distant tiny (to us) galaxies. More info and tech specs here.
