What does it mean to go from strangers to love? We often skip the essential stage of collecting data objectively in a friendship space. If we all get into the habit of doing this more intentionally, even if we are already involved romantically, then we can screen more effectively without feeling enmeshed in the potential trauma bonds and unhealthy codependency that potentially arise from skipping this stage.
