Freedom vs. Bitterness / Unfortunately bitterness often never even pops up on the radar of the person we’re unforgiving towards. Often the bitterness and resentment we hold close to our heart only affects us negatively. How ironic that the target of our bitterness is not affected in the least while we suffer.

Likely this is why the Rev. Harry Emerson Fosdick wrote, “Bitterness imprisons life; love releases it.”
