KSL Newsradiolisteners have been contacting us to say it's taking Salt Lake City police officers way too long to respond to calls. So, we asked the police department for records on their response times. It took SLCPD officers an average of 24 minutes to get to calls for help last year. This year: it's 50 minutes. Why the delay? We'll ask SLCPD Deputy Chief LaMar Ewell.
