This may present in the form of chronic pain, injury, fatigue, or just general day-to-day discomfort that you may sometimes experience. If you’re human, chances are your brain responds to the discomfort signal by pushing back and tensing up. That’s just a habit that we engage in without knowing it. By practicing profound relaxation, we can change our reaction to discomfort on all levels. By relaxing and reducing stress, you reduce inflammation, which tends to calm down the injury itself, allowing for increased circulation in the area, which can even speed healing. So that’s good. Let's relax together, and soothe any discomfort you may be feeling tonight, before drifting off to healing sleep.
