Sleep loss dangers (04:15)
- Sleep is associated with a stronger immune system.
-Long-term sleep loss is even more devastating
- If you've not been getting enough, things like elevated blood pressure and heart attacks are huge occurrence
- When you get less than seven hours of sleep a day you're three times more likely to get sick from exposure to a pathogen, like a virus.
- When you have a lack of sleep, the signal that you're sending to your body is I'm in danger, I'm deprived, there's something going on.

- Sleep hours have been found to be the absolute strongest predictor of injuries out there.
- Doctors with the U.S. Olympic water polo team found by properly regulating sleep, the team actually had 64% less last time
- Stanford basketball team showed almost a 10% improvement in just free throws made by sleeping properly.
