New parents know that those first couple of months are full of sleepless nights, getting up and down with feeding and changing. But after six months, getting up every hour, today's guest knew she needed something to help her baby sleep through the night. Not finding anything that worked, she created her own solution - a weighted sleep sack. Like a miniature, wearable version of a weighted blanket for adults, she thought it might just work. And work it did. Listen to the incredible difference it made in her baby's sleep, the story of her bringing her idea to market, and how she ended up on Shark Tank and catapulting her success. 

It wasn't all easy though. Tara, her husband and children had just moved into a new house, then both lost their jobs, creating mountains of stress and financial unease, all while trying to start a business on her own.
