God's way of thinking vs Man's. The Lord Jesus uses the death of His dear friend Lazarus, and His desire to go and give new life, to teach a powerful lesson. Until we come to Christ, we are like a person sleepwalking in darkness. We stumble and fall and are a danger to ourselves. Just as a person taking a journey would normally choose to travel in the daytime, while it is light, so we must 'walk in the day' and obey Christ's call.
