On episode 37 of Southern Live Gumbo, we discuss what's happened in the time that's passed since the last episode on 15 July. The lead up to surgery, the completion and healing process of the surgery and the weight of dealing with the changes you're enduring then and for the rest of your life. The need for therapy is even more important now than it was before the diagnosis. 

We also talk about the disease that in many ways can be worse than the cancer itself, Anxiety, and how it can really make your recovery worse than you ever imagined.
