Monica Niculescu has the most unique game on tour and a cult following to show for it. The 20-year-old Romanian relies heavily on a forehand slice that can drive her opponents batty, as evidenced by her gritty three-set win over Maria Sharapova in February. 

WTA Insider caught up with Niculescu at the BNP Paribas Open to get a better sense of how she's been able to build a successful career with a game built on the forehand slice.
