Starting off the show with a discussion of the Joel Osteen situation in Texas. It’s important to look at all sides of this but it’s really hard to look at the situation as anything except a guy making money off religion and not giving back. Travis is the optimist and thinks it’s a lot to do with the regular megachurch criticism. D calls in to say his church better open the doors. Travis is getting Joel Osteen books for Christmas from everyone. Jeff is eating at places where WashU freshmen are and it’s not a good look. We might decide to go invade Yale Hollander’s open mics and just plug our show. Travis is back on his war against the listeners, who may not live in the high dollar parts of town.
