Slugs: The Movie!

Whenever something is followed by "The Movie", it usually is not a good sign. I suppose it is a bad marketing ploy to make you think that you are missing out on some kind of major event.

And in this case you are not missing out on much at all. Although there is a book that this film is based on, I don't think it set the literary world on fire. For some reason though I would like to read the book now. Mainly so the acting in my mind would erase the acting in this very dull film. The performances are rather.... sluggish.

Puns aside, there is a decent amount of gore and carnage in it so it is worth a look. And how they managed to get the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra involved with a movie like this is a mystery in itself.

But it really doesn't matter. Because its time for you to get your green thumb ready and join us as we drop some fertilizer on.... Slugs!
