Well, we had high hopes of livestreaming our attempts to secure SDCC 2027 tickets.  We decided that wouldn't be a good idea because it would limit our ticketing resources and us talking to each other and a Discord chat might not be all that exciting to you.

What you get instead is us kvetching about the whole process (SPOILER ALERT:  WE BOTH GOT IN).  We talk about the pros and cons of the current process.  The possible bottleneck created by someone posting a Firefox hack the night before the release.

Heard you missed us!  We're back!

After a longer than expected break while Bruce went on vacation to Italy and then recovered the boys are back on the stick and ready to SlurpToast.

Things open up with a discussion of Stephe's continuing adventures as a mustachioed man.  He may moonlight as a shop teacher.  We're trying to find out.

We then got an update on Stephe's work with consultants.  He's been promoted to point of the spear.  Not a great idea since he likes stabby things.

Bruce discussed his trip to Italy.  It was good.  You can be jealous.

Stephe discusses his "Guido Month" project over at Wiggy Diggs.

That conversation goes off the rail when Doug Henning is invoked.  That leads to discussion of Shields & Yarnell and Pink Lady & Jeff.  Gen X!

We start off by discussing the deaths of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry on consecutive days.

The universe can suck sometimes.

We engage in some 'stache talk as Stephe tries to decide which iteration of Bob's Burger he looks like.

Here I wrote "all Cadillacs and steak knives."  Not sure what that means, but I bet it was funny.

Then we talk, for a while, about Stephe's time at a KC anime con and the glorious return of Retail Stephe.

He sold the crap out of some anime and discovered one he liked.

This led to us riffing on Pokemon and wrestling, specifically the use of the DDT on a Pokemon.

Jaye P. Morgan also died, so we talked about the Gong Show.

We decided that Dolly, Tim and Jaye P. would make for a great Gong Show panel.

There was a Styx rabbit hole.

The phrase "slick the monkey" was used.  I'll let you ponder how.

Stephe showed off his new light saber from Laser Monkey Light Sabers.

We played "What's on Your Desk?"

We finished up with a riff on Spider-Man porn.  What does that mean?  It involves the KnobGoblin.  That's all I'm saying.

Never let it be said that we don't continually try to evolve what we do on this podcast.

Sure, we know what works.  It's our, as Stephe put it, kibbutzing.

But tonight, oh tonight 'Migos, we really stretched ourselves.

Stephe bought the new Moon Knight model kit from Blokee and, after putting together a similar Spider-Man kit over the weekend, felt like he could put old MK together while we recorded the podcast.

Seeing as how we recorded this the day after the series finale of The Boys aired, do you think we are going to talk about that?  Of course we are.  

Immediately after watching The Boys, Bruce watched The Punisher:  One Last Kill.  He's got some thoughts on that bloody affair as well.

Bruce also finished the Levon Cade series by Chuck Dixon.  Thoughts?  Sure, he's got them.

We talked about the Kentucky Derby and our VERY tenuous connection to one of the jockeys.

There was some brief conversation about Redd Foxx and the comedy chitlin circuit.  I should take better notes.

Stephe saw David Byrne in concert.  He's 73.  David Byrne, not Stephe.

We talked about toy hunting, as we do.

We discussed the Further Adventures of Pot Dad.

Our round of "What's on Your Desk?" led to some high end Modokery and it involves karate.  You read all of those words correctly.

We're back!

Both of your friendly neighborhood hosts had trips since last we convened.  These are discussed.  Find out about Stephe in Tennessee and Bruce in Costa Rica.

Then we hopped right into the meat of this week's episode.

Bruce came up with an idea.  Think "F*ck, Marry, Kill" but with the entire MCU catalog to choose from.  No we're not getting carnal or betrothed.  Instead we Keep one property exactly as is.  We Delete on from existence in its entirety and we Change one to better suit our nerd ideals.

I can promise no duplicate choices were made.

There is some extra nerdy discussion of things we didn't choose and why.  We get off on a tangent trying to take Nick Fury from WWII all the way to the early days of SHIELD in the swinging sixties.

That one yields some very fun results.
