Sly Fox and the Hustlers play original and great cover blues based roots rock and roll. From New York the 6 piece band is made up of the classic soul/funk/blues/rock combination led by the big man himself Sly Fox. Sly's no ordinary gunslinger when it comes to the music. He's lived the hard life and his songs weave the magic only the hard life can attain. Sly has those Black Irish pipes that will melt your soul in a powerful yet soulful way. Then he starts rippin on his blues soaked guitar and the house starts bakin and the big man starts a shakin..There's a whole lot of rocking going down.
As if Sly's talent wasn't enough he has a tight ass band that can flat out get down The Hustlers have a potent combo on bass and sax that will blow you away. National recording artist Dylan Storm plays his bass with a vengance that gets the crowd moving,dancin and shaking to his funky grooves. Dylan plays the first set solo on acoustic guitar and then picks up his bass and Rocks for the Hustlers. Sax man Tommy "Boots" Decille is the baddest saxaphonist around. As the bands elder statesman with Clarence like skills Tommy takes over when he blows that horn.
The band also features the Tritico's. Donna Tritico, backup singer and dancer exstrordinaire (Donna is a professional belly dancer on the side) keeps the action flowing with her vocals and amazing stage performance. Husband Mark lays down the beat for the Hustlers. Mark is rock solid and steady behind the skins.
The music has been described as "Heavy Voodoo Funk Blues over Sweaty Funky Grooves" guaranteed to get you on your feet to dance, drink and funk with Sly Fox and the Hustlers. The band is celebrating their recent release of the rock/funk album "LOW LIFE" and their hit single "SUNY GIRL".
