Small Soldiers became a landmark film for us as kids when it made us feel like we were watching Toy Story but for "big kids." We are now revisiting the movie many years later to see if there is more to it, such as a nuanced look at the United States military industrial complex, a commentary on advertising to children, and a heart warming story about finding your true home. That or it's just about some cool military action figures using flame throwers, shooting nail guns, and building awesome vehicles that would inspire "BattleBots."
