Today, I covered the episode S1E16: Love Story, which aired on January 18, 1986.

In this episode to charm prissy and picky Jessica, Jamie throws an expensive party for her, ignoring a surprising school tomboy.

I enjoyed this episode, but jeez Jamie, have some self respect, he goes for a girl with a pretty face and bitch attitude.

And it just gets worse from there. We also that Ted cheated on Joan while they were dating in college. Good grief, Ted.

And of course we have the She's All That complex with the tomboy Phyllis, who I seriously thought was a boy named Phil at first due to the baseball cap and glasses, who comes to Jamie's party totally transformed into a beautiful girl in a dress minus the glasses.

In this episode Brandon steps in for Ted Jamie's school picnic.

I'm already royally P.O.'d at this premise. I mean, come on, Jamie picks Brandon Brindle over his own father. That's gotta be a kick to the nuts for Ted's self esteem.
