Pay off Debt or Head to Las Vegas?

A good friend of the Smart Money Cafe was invited to have a HUGE weekend in Vegas. Of course it's a no brainer. He wanted to go. The problem is he recently made a commitment to follow Dave Ramsey's plan to pay off his credit cards. So should he pay his Visa bill or Hit Vegas?? What would you do?
