Whether it was homosexuality or another transgression, such as the act of inhospitable behavior towards visitors, the act of sexual assault, the oppression of marginalized groups, murder, theft, adultery, idolatry, power abuses, the oppression of the poor, or prideful and mocking behavior, that was the principal reason for Allah's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
