While the ending summer heat and humidity continues to rear and roar through most cities and towns and we are deluged with ads for ‘Back to School’ sales and reminders that the kids will soon be back in class, my mind and memory can’t help but crawl reluctantly back to the days when I was an inmate in the public school system.
